Cool game, controls feel good and fun mechanic to use the enemies projectile against themselves. Also animation of the emelies look cool!

Thanks for the Feedback! I agree, the rotations are not that intuitive and cause this frustration sometimes, I tried implementing that you have a last "safe spot" but I could definately improve that! Thanks!

The game is amazing, nice graphics, shadows animations. It looks so complete and polished. Honestly got a 10 out of 10 for me!

Really nice game, well done and polished and also really creative interpretation of the Theme!

Just played it again and you did it to look down when pressing the "Down" arrow key, you could do the same for the "up" arrow key, and leaving only the space key for the jump

Amazing game, gameplay feels really good, feedback when hitting enemies, everything. The game design implementation of the camera being a bit ahead from where the player is facing is awesome consigering we might have enemies coming, one place where I see this could been improved is on some parts in which we have to climb vertically, if feels a bit claustrophobic as we cannot see that much below or above, it would be great to have the camera zoom out a bit on those parts of the level or even offsetting it a bit on the Y axis. Overall the game is amazing, nice work!

Please reply to this comment once you have a version of that! I will be happy to play it!

This was a nice game! I loved how you were able to implement a solid building system in a gameboy-like game. The combos make a fun concept and I really wnjoyed having a TV close to a bathtub, so I could watch netflix!
Great game!

I got a bit confused but after reading a comment explaining I could understand, is a fun concept however it was a bit tricky to understand what was happening, where the items I was picking were going and what i should do with them. I liked the concept and the path the game could go, definately go ahead and refine the game :)

I liked the game a lot! Interesting concept. The only thing I would suggest is that the "tiles" you get to put appear like a surprise for you. First you start with 3 rocks, which is fine, then on the second wave you get 2 railguns, so i asked myself "Oh no rocks on this level?" just to realize that after putting the 2 railguns then I "was given" the rocks. It would be good to know ahead all tiles I could use to defend. But, honestly this didn't break the experience, just an improvement note, I enjoyed it a lot :).
Color pallette sound and graphics made me feel like playing a retro game!

Hey, I just pushed a new version with the issue fixed :)

Hey, I just pushed a new version with the issue fixed :)

Thanks for Playing, I just pushed a new version with that issue fixed!

Thank you for playing and giving your feedback!

The Softlocking thing is a known issue on the web version, the windows downloadable version works fine, I will be pushing the fix for it later on today!

yep, this is the bug that is happening on the Web build. The windows (Downloadable version) works as expected

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I will be fixing some of the biggest issues and post it again so that it will be playable from the browser. For now, the windows builds are fully functional, you can play from start to end.

Fixed build, posted 1 min after jam submission ended. No Changes from the project that was submitted on the jam

Neon Slash is now available to download and play on Google Play store!!!

Neon Slash is a casual snake-inspired game that I've build the main game loop in under 24h and as i was really happy with the end result I've decided to turn it into a full product and release it on a mobile store. I've learned a lot while building this project and i'm really happy with what it turned out!

You can check out its project page on itch.io where I also posted the link with the version that I've ended up after the first 24h of development.

Yes, those are known issues xD,  i'll keep working on the Project, but i wanted to upload this version of the 24 Hours Mark!

Good to know that you enjoyed :D

It Will be available on Google Play soon

This is my current record!!!!

Me as ,a paticipant, don't really care, i think less than 8x it's ok

I can't quite understand what the game is about, i've noticed that i can blacken the white squares or turn white the black squares
