Haha they're definitely portals of doom! If we expand the game I'd love to make them into spider nests :) The game is all built in a single screen (or scene?) in unity. Thank you so much for your kind comments!
Cool idea! Unfortunately I had issues with the camera that made the game hard to play. The red ball took up my entire screen most of the time which made it difficult to navigate and avoid the books. I couldn't finish the game due to this :(
Nice concept, reminded me of Bandersnatch. I found the green dungeon very easy though, I clicked twice and arrived at the treasure. It would be cool to have more attack options in the future!
I felt very confused playing this game. I think the link between the stages of grief and the room's could've been clearer. I didn't understand why Jeff was enraged no matter which order I chose the books which felt frustrating to me. Also I found the readability of the blue text to be a struggle against the backgrounds sometimes. Good job with the plot twist at the end!
Lovely writing. I would've loved some simple imagery or even particle effects to be included next time. The world felt incredibly empty despite the rich writing style.
Hilarious game! I loved that the dog inflated when you double jumped, had me in stitches. The only thing was when I left the backyard I didn't know how to progress the game. The cat was missing and I had no objectives to complete. Otherwise very fun!
Love the sounds and the colour design! Very relaxing game. I would think about having the player interact more with the environment next time as I felt like I was watching a satisfying video instead of playing a game. Amazing job though!
