I love the art style and music. I was a little confused about the concept at the start but once I had picked up on it I had a lot of fun. The concept is super cool and unique. Would love to see the implementation of a player story that you build out using the gacha. Overall, It's a very lovely little game.

I really enjoyed the art style :)

Even in a virtual world, I get to collect my favourite stuff:

Stickers, and Pony toys.

Very chill game.

Fun, charming. The prompts were great:) Helped me look at my hording and cluttering more objectively... Gotta get rid of those old shoes...

The music loop was cute, but the ambience recording set the mood quite well. it has scope to use a pavement arcade environment with ambient sfx too... I would just lower the volume thats all.

The idea is GREAT.

Love the art, pleasing and calming, SFX I think could be a bit more meaty or crunchy. I think you could even make these seem oddly specific or maybe add secrets like choosing specifically a route of life might give you a specific special cause of death gatcha etc. Overall cool concept.

Developer

I like that! If I ever decide to expand this into a bigger game, having some kind of secret consequence to locking in certain gachas would be really cool. Might add a couple of oddly specific gachas in the meantime if I get around to it. Also open to suggestions XD

Nice little gacha experience, short and sweet

Very nice game, I will tell my friends to also play the game and send me a screenshot of there results 😄.

My favorite part of the game is when I have to state my cause of death and I had no money left so there was no choice but to lock in [ murder ] ☠️  😄😄😁.

The sounds are satisfying and the music fit the game.

Overall its a warm and calming game 👌😊.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much 😄

Sounds like you got the true experience!

There's people out there with their lucky draws just getting decent outcomes on the first roll, meanwhile schmuks like us gotta keep hustling only to be murdered in the end 😔 isn't that just life.

I loved seeing the final results that my friends ended with too, but also watching them play, it's great seeing who decides to keep what and who gets lucky and how they respond etc 😆

Thanks for playing!

Honestly I enjoyed how complete the game felt. All of this considering the amount of time available to pull everything together.

Very chilled cozy game.

Lovely little experience, so far my favourite of the jam!

I thoroughly enjoyed the little features like the shake, and then the machine refusing to work normally if I tampered with it (swallows coin but doesn’t budge?).

I haven’t seen it mentioned, but there truly is an “unlimited coin” feature, if you keep jiggling the dial you can reverse it until you get a free gacha… It never seemed to be limited or prevented, so I assume it was a built-in feature?

Overall, this was a joy to play!🎊

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks so much! All the things you mentioned shouldn't be happening 😂 but I'm glad they didn't detract from your enjoyment!

I'll have to poke around at it a bit more to see which bugs I'd like to make features XD

Edit: actually the coin insert but no rotation should only happen if a ball didn't fall in, so it prevents you from rotating past the point of no return without a ball. You gotta shake the machine for a ball to fall in, then it should let you turn the knob again... At least, I think that's what you might have encountered?

The infinite wiggle is definitely a bug haha. Gonna have to squish it >_>

Submitted(+1)

Damn, the one time I find an actual “infinite money” hack and I go running my mouth about it…🙄😅

I thought there was something to do with a ball having to go in first, but I never had an issue with that. The shake was always more of a novelty in my couple of playthroughs, never really jostling the balls much, even when there was only two…🤔

Nevertheless, I think all this added to, instead of detracted from, my enjoyment!😁

Super cute! I've been thinking of making something similar for a while and it's so nice to see someone else's take on such a simple but cool idea. I noticed that I almost had unlimited coins. Not sure if that's intentional. But I like this a lot

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing! Definitely not supposed to be unlimited coins 😨 you're supposed to get 5 starting coins and then one "free" coin per level... What do you mean by unlimited 🫣 it might be a bug I need to look into... Also which version did you play? I know an earlier version had a negative coin bug that I've since fixed

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

Okayyy I went back to play again. So I didn't realise that each time I locked something in, a new level was beginning. So the first time I played, i wasn't throwing anything away, so each time I played, I remained on 5 coins. That made it seem unlimited because the amount didn't change. But now when I went back to double check, I did more and threw things away and then realised. So I guess it works correctly. Just a design "loophole" I guess maybe? Still fun either way. I also love hoe you included the credits on the machine. Ugh just love this

Developer

Ah ok phew 😅 It's funny watching different people play this, for some, 5 starting coins isn't enough cos they wanna redraw everything but some people don't care to redraw at all! Thanks again 😊

Nice relaxed game, worked really well, well done!

  • Fun little game! Nice complete end-to-end experience :)
  • I enjoyed the level of polish and the pretty art
  • I liked how you tell your life's story, but the later decisions are maybe more impactful and you need to know when to use/keep the coins
  • I like how almost everything is quite diegetic
Submitted(+1)

I really liked the simple satisfaction of getting a ball! The art and music made it feel like a very relaxing and vibey game :)

Extremely fun to play, great implementation of Sound and Art. My favorite detail was the machine shake

Submitted(+1)

Kinda relaxing ngl

I was very pleased to find out I could shake the machine but sadly I didn't shake loose any gachas 😞

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing! Just keep shaking XD otherwise you can also reset the level. But that's assuming the balls got stuck in the machine, if you're just trying to get free gachas then sorry XD

Such a lovely experience, feel like the game has its own distinct personality :)

Beautiful art style and calming, nostalgic atmosphere. Enjoyed this!

Noticed when I turned the button while it switched rounds it still activated and took a coin. Don't think it affects the overall outcome, but could look at disabling interactivity when it goes to next round.

Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I've fixed that issue in the 72hr version x)

Lovely art and super cute vibe (especially with the sounds). Sets you up for a relaxing gambling session ;)

I love the visuals! Very cute!

Finally, my very own belly lint.

Very cool!

Submitted(+2)

Definitely love the style and music! The concept is intriguing, but sometimes falls flat with a few bugs that occur. Such as where we would put a coin in and rotate the dial just for no gacha to come out. This would make us very sad, which at least means the gameplay loop is super fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure which version you played, but bug has now become a feature >_> much like a real gacha machine, sometimes you just need to give it a good shake
