I probably didn't find jr janky because it didn't have diagonal movement, 4 direction movement is what I prefer anyways, i also make (pretty much) all my top down games in 4 dir, it's probably because you can't go from going right to up without having to stop pressing right for example.

Honestly, movement feels janky and I don't feel nice when moving, for me, the most crucial part of any game that involves movement is movement, if you get the feel right, just moving would be (kinda) fun, visuals aren't bad tho, and the audio is nice, but i got too confused, overall, i didn't really enjoy but with the timelimit for the dev process, quite nice, good job!

Good observation, it indeed was like that, I do think maybe expanding this game but still, only time will show(or winning, if i win trijam with this game, i definitely will expand on it) thanks for your comment!

thank you! I had to cut a lot of corners for the jam(like making cows stand still and not adding water animations) but overall i think it was worth the time i put in.

thanks! I thought most people would go for a more nerving and scary atmosphere with the theme so i wanted to make a more relaxing game.

so smart indeed! Sadly i couldn't make portraits work, but imagine the smug cat in game portrait saying that.

The screenshots look good, but it runs very poorly on firefox, might want to check that.

It's a fun little game, tho enemies get a little overwhelming after a while and make me get stuck, really good for the time limit. Overall really enjoyable.
