This was very impressive, it really took me back! Some feedback would be to make either the first gamepad binding the "down" axis, or  allow us to set the gamepad binding with the keyboard.

Yeah that’s the first music I’ve ever done in my life. I was wishing I’d have reached out someone by the end. I probably won’t try it again!

Yeah it was during screen transitions, most of the time due to dashing :)

Very impressive title. Definitely my favorite to play so far in byte off 2020. Unfortunately there are a lot of tiles I got stuck on and had to go back to a previous state (I started to save often) and there's some weirdness when you talk to people twice. But, everything else is really great. This is a gem.

I assumed it’s an auto scroll through a bunch of screens.

haha no I couldn’t kill anything before they killed me!

Is technically great! I couldn't get past the first enemy though...

It's an actual game and it's fun! Nice job.

Well done but so so hard.

I was blown away by the intro cinematic. Only way it could have been better is with some screen shake!

Love the animated tiles and mood. The controls were pretty difficult for me but I guess that's par for the course on NES.

Really nice dialogue and great map design. Well done. I did have an issue though, the boss never dropped the dynamite. Unless that's the end of the demo :)

I really enjoyed playing this one. Excellent work!

Thanks! Yeah the game was very much inspired by Faxanadu and Zelda 2 so I'm happy you feel that way :). Also, I used the Battle of Olympus character as the main reference for the animations of my main character.

It’s at the business resource center across the street.  So much parking...
