Thanks for playing. Some good feedback there, I know others have commented on early items seeming weak or unclear so I'll look into that. I do have plans to have an additional story introduction part as well.

I played this till I got to the GloomShroom caverns, overall I think the game's pretty good. I don't have much commentary on the gameplay and enemies, they work well. I think the most negative thing was there was some kind of in game quests/story but I didn't understand it at all. For example I walked by a bag, didn't see it, but saw the message "This guy's bag...". I looked for the bag, then I expected to pick up the bag but could not, so I didn't know what to do. I debated even mentioning this, but I think the way text and graphics come in so quickly will give a bad impression, like the fast story at the beginning or the text like Key Fragment Found. You might look at the transitions and effects used in old console games to make it seem more professional.
On one hand I like this game and didn't see anything particularly wrong with it. On the other hand, what feedback can I give? It's not a very long or complex demo, there's not a lot that can go wrong (I did play the whole demo). Something that I noted early is that selecting a sniper and clicking the enemy unit moves all the way to them when a sniper would want to move to a ranged position. But that's really just an issue for new players. Looking at the Steam short description and so on, I think players will ask, "What does this game do differently from other games in the genre?". So consider what could make it more noteworthy.
Thanks a lot for checking it out, and your comments.
On the "Tutorial", do you think it would have solved the problem if it just wasn't called a tutorial? Those areas are just intended to be miscellaneous tips, the tutorial was the beginning where it ensures you know how buy, equip, and use a skill. Other than that I don't think there's anything mandatory to know.
Combat - Intended to be like path of exile except each item is effectively a skill gem. So you may find it quickly goes from not many things to use to too many. Which brings us to the WSAD keys. You're gonna be aiming with the mouse anyway so might as well free up those keys. Gamepad works though and is as good as WSAD plus 360 rotation.
My clothing - The clothing break is a status effect that can be cured with the power up boxes that are scattered around. It's not related to gear directly. I guess something needs to be done about it though if it's unclear.
Opening story - Do you think it would have been better just without any dialog then? There is another opening scene planned to introduce things more but it's intended to be quick to get to the gameplay.
Is there a video? It's fine if not, just thought I would check where you were stuck and such.
I finished it. I think the challenge level was fine for me, I don't understand tutorials well but I figured out things from the interface. As was said, using Space, optionally, for dialog would be good. I thought the gameplay was a tiny bit boring for me but it's clearly a good game overall, let me know if there's something specific you wanted feedback on. It made me smile to see Adobe Flash in the taskbar, I used to program some Actionscript, it's been a long time.
Hi, I tried it a bit:
Didn't like the way the text boxes (Starting at Chaos Knight) move up making you wait, it's not like I can read them as they move, I prefer fast text boxes.
The tree on top of boulder that blocks you wasn't clear, I think someone said that already.
Cave area said press L to use the ability. If it had said healing I would have understood better since I would know when to use it and when it was unusable.
There is a sign with just !, and others, not clear if it's part of a set of symbols, later, I stopped at the part that asked you to enter the symbols, couldn't be bothered.
Overall it's good, I didn't comment on a lot of things because they seemed to work for the game. if there's some specific aspect of gameplay you wanted feedback on let me know.
