Thanks for the constructive feedback! Definitely a lesson to learn for the next jams to come. As this was my second jam, I think I spent too long on intro and struggling to figure out the story vs figuring out the actual game mechanics. Will try to update this one to make it more eventful soon though, so stay tuned. If you have any other tips, would love to hear them since you have made quite a few games by the looks of it.

Thank you!

haha Glad someone got a lil scared. Yes, I would love to come back and iterate on this one. Will plan to update this one soon.

Really enjoyed the game! Didn’t think I was gonna get spooked, but sure enough did with your jump scares haha

Excellent game! Spooked me several times. Fix up a few of the bugs and throw it on the store.

Will for sure add option to skip ahead. Thanks for trying it out! Hopefully will get some time to update this one and add more story elements.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree about having a skip option. Also, I spent too long on the mechanics that the story fell through, so all we got are the notes. Would like to update the game though to actually improve the story line and get a proper ending.

Love the concept of playing games within a game. Aesthetic was good. Minigame could use some camera work. Perhaps if you had the camera move with the character such that we can see the upcoming walls/boundaries, it would be a bit more addicting to play.

Really like the concept of the game. I can see this being a full fledge game autogenerating scenes with various weapons and what not. Dying isn’t too scary though.

It’s really bare bones. That’s it, you’ve done everything. Wish I could have got more content in during the game jam timeframe. I’ll update it soon and will keep you posted.

Appreciate the compliment, but we had to use free assets for this one since it's our first jam. Below are the links to the assets.

As for strategy (in it's current form), you would want to look away from the chicken as you hit and then lean back into the chicken. I would like to change this though in future updates as I've gotten the same feedback and I personally don't like the gameplay in it's current form. Feel free to come back and check it out once you see version 2.

Thank you for trying it out and leaving some feedback.

That's odd :o. Probably need to spawn in a couple on the platform since their normal spawns are y +15 around the edges. I plan on updating this in a few days to include some nightmarish elements and fix the animation/fighting.
