This is best game in this jam. Thank you for your job, man

You did a great job of building a really intense atmosphere before the monster even showed up, I swear I was getting scared of my own shadow while waiting to repair the TVs. The monster itself was freaky and scared me quite a bit. I thought the game would be over with the reveal, but it kept going! Great job!

I’m happy to hear I was able to spook you. Thanks for playing.

My computer is a little too old to run this well but I loved it! One part really scared me

Developer

Can’t say I’m surprised, it was really pushing my system too. My poor pc only has a 1050ti so it screams at me and my visual ambition.

Great job! Sound, level design, menu, gameplay and the storyline, all good! Only the experience was too short but got scared in a so small time. Smart use of assets, well done.

Implementing the current mechanics was very tedious and time consuming. Admittedly the way I went about doing things could have been better planned but I went into this with 0 planning. I think if I had even a rough idea of what I was doing I could have extended the game a little but anyway thanks for playing and for the incredible feedback.

Great enviroment and sound design. Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)

Excellent game! Spooked me several times. Fix up a few of the bugs and throw it on the store.

Thanks for playing and I might just consider doing so.

Very scary! Very well done! The setting and the story sucked me in and I was genuinely spooked by what was going on. I like how the apparently simple task slowly evolves in something scary. The best game I played so far.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Part of me wants to jump back in and add more engaging elements gameplay wise to the whole "repair aspect". That way I could add more spooks.

This game has great potential! Loved the ambience, the concept and the monster, very erratic and creepy.

Thanks for playing. I put a lot of effort into getting a certain level of quality/polish in the jams I participate in. I'm glad it's living up to it.

Fantastic game, I was terrified the entire time!

Incredibly polished, loved how there's so many different mechanics in play and the monster is so creepy!

10/10

Thank you for making interesting concepts and making them reality

Genuinely scary and fantastic sound design! It would be cool if I could somehow know which TV I already fixed because I spent some time swapping stuff around until I found the one still left. But this of course meant I had more time to dwell in that spooky atmosphere - great!

Developer

I plan to update and add some quality of life improvements once the jam is done but I suppose in a way it just adds to the spooks the longer you play.

Genuinely fantastic horror experience! The gradual build in dread as you continue to fix the TVs, knowing something is coming, was well executed. Sound was great, the music was well utilized; everything you did here came together to make a great game. I tend not to jump much, but you definitely got me with the door scare when I tried to leave the house when being chased for the first time. Well done!

I have to find it a little funny about the double jump scare.  Not one time making the game did it cross my mind that if you don’t trigger the spook before the final section you’d get screwed over when being chased.

I was so scared after the 2nd TV that it genuinely brought out a "nope" reaction and i crouched under the table until i was good enough to get up again. 10/10. Oh yeah i think i also got 2 deaths at once lol. During the chase scene I opened the front door cuz, yk time to gtfo, and i ended up getting not just 1 jumpscare but 2 lol. You got the horror, graphics, and sound design NAILED!

Developer

I’m so glad to hear the week of slaving away paid off. As a solo dev I find it hard sometimes to scale the amount I put into these game jams so I kept it small this time and tried to put a lot of time into atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing! The style of the game is beautiful,  and the gameplay was a short but fun experience. There were a few issues here and there with the mechanics of the dials and such, however they were far from being game breaking.

I'd be shocked if this didn't win the jam!

First off, great work on the sound design. It really added tension during the first two TV fixes. I had to lower my volume because I got spooked. Fixing the TVs was straightforward and easy, and I had a nervous anticipation of what was going to happen next after fixing each TV.

There were a few issues with the mechanics and bugs. After fixing a TV, I forgot one spot to return the TV, and that was the one in the closet. I walked up to the closet and couldn't put it back, only to find out later that the original spot was on the ground. I think this could benefit from implementing an outline indicating the drop-off spot for the TV. Another issue was remembering which TV I had fixed, so I often unknowingly returned to the same TV that I had fixed and brought it back to the table, only to find out that I had fixed it already.

Bug-wise, towards the end when the monster revealed itself, I opened a door and a jumpscare appeared very fast, causing the game to freeze and not go into a losing state. I had to return to the menu and found that I had to start over. I wished that there was some kind of checkpoint.

In conclusion, great game concept and sound design. I think if you had more time, the bugs could have been straightened out. Great job!!!

I’m really glad you liked it and thanks for checking it out. There were a couple things I didn’t think to check for bugs the jumps are door being one. I think I’m going to go back and fix some issues and implement some quality of life things once the jam is over.
