I can't get over how insanely good that main menu/ui is. It's so satisfying to navigate. Excellent presentation all around, great sound design and music. I would love to see the gameplay get fleshed out more!

Thank you so much! Means a lot :)

Thanks so much! And yes, totally hear you on the turning. That's one of the main things we want to focus on tuning and smoothing out since we'd love to keep working on this project if our schedules permit us to.  Really appreciate the feedback and thanks again for checking our game out!

Thanks so much for playing and for your feedback! Totally hear you. Smoothing out the aiming and adding a sensitivity slider is something we want to work toward updating. Definitely hear that frustration and it's one we share and look to address eventually. Again, thanks so much!

Wow. What an insanely cool concept, really. It feels so tense and immersive and it absolutely blows the originality meter off the charts. I want more of this, this is genuinely a great idea and very well executed. The sound design is great and the 3d spatial audio works so so well. Love the ABAS voice too, sounds so cool. Great work, you should be proud of it

That means so much to hear! I just began learning sound design about 5 months ago and this jam was my first time ever learning implementation so I truly appreciate your comments

Thank you so much! Appreciate it :)

Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed it :) As for the absence of a lot of the lower-end frequencies - it was a conscious decision. With how fast-paced our game played and how much was going on at any given time, the lower-end frequencies began to muddy up the mix and make everything kind of mush together and it became very tiring on the ears. So while sounds still do have sub to them for extra punch, it was toned down for the sake of auditory readability. For an in-game purpose yes, it also made sense for our mech to feel and sound like it had high mobility. Hope that answers your question!

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you for playing <3

Thank you for trying the game out!! Absolutely agree, that's one of the things we'd like to tune but couldn't in time for submissions so hopefully sometime soon we can update that. Appreciate the feedback!

I'd love to see more of this. Feels, sounds, and looks amazing! Awesome Entry

I genuinely love this game lol. I would buy this. It's really addicting and the sound design is awesome. The gunshot is really satisfying, the camera shake gives great feedback. Awesome job

What a cool game. Everything really comes together here but I especially love the first enemies you encounter. The way they act like they're watching you and stalking you is so awesome. Atmosphere is great, the movement feels really good. One thing I'd say is maybe I'd like a little more feedback from the player's weapon, it could be more satisfying to shoot. That could be some punchier sounds, a slight camera shake, etc. Also with how precise the weapon is and how precise you have to be to hit the red spot on those enemies, a bullet trail would be really nice visual feedback. Think like Halo's sniper rifle bullet trail.

But overall, I absolutely love this and want more of it. Great job!

I really love the visuals! The feeling of moving around is really nice and I like how fast-paced it is. Love the upgrade system. I can't help but wish there were sounds for attacks and enemies and such as it would add so much to the feedback of the game BUT being a solo submission, its absence is definitely understandable. Overall great job! Really cool submission :)

Absolutely love the art and sprite work. Sound design was also satisfying and perfectly supported the visuals. Really awesome entry!
