34 is the best I could get. Very fun game, can't really pick much fault with it.

I guess if I had to then the music is probably a bit out of place and very repetitive, though with a 48h jam game it's hardly fair criticism.

Only other thing would be more variation at later levels since after so many kills when you get the small circle view pretty early on that seems to be the limit in terms of difficulty increase.

Overall very fun and that is what really matters with a game after all.

Just tried again and as I thought, no cursor at all. Not sure if there is a way to change out of fullscreen?

Nice concept but in practice it seemed far better to just target the king with bombs than any of the structures.

Sorry but I couldn't get this working for the life of me. I'm stuck in a room with PLAY and EXIT buttons but no idea how to press them or progress at all. Got stuck in the boxes a ton too.

Love the art. Maybe make damage a bit clearer with a sound effect?

Managed to get 43,315. Surprisingly fun game. I'd have liked some control over the speed of the plane, it's a lot of waiting for the right moment atm.

Very fun game with the only flaw being, as juunishi said, the movement. The bats are very hard to kill for me too, though that might just be me being bad.

Finished the game with 2425 score, loved the little "You Win" voice. Does feel almost random how the player flys though, it was exciting to get him up super high and see him falling in what I was pretty sure was the centre, though without any points of reference I had no idea.

This is such an original idea to me, I really liked it. Didn't manage to find a way to peace, though I did "win" with 5 vs 3 nukes.

I got to 200 and something before I lost. I think there should be more Sodas to avoid, it's very easy at the minute other than the odd literally impossible bomb (maybe make them only spawn X pixels away?). Other than that it gets the job done.

Very fun game. To be honest I had given up on level 3 but when I saw your comment saying there are only 5 levels I pushed on and got to the end. Only downside is a lack of music, otherwise it all fits really well into a solid little puzzle game.

Very fun, I did find the controls very awkward though. Once the player would pick up the bomb just walking into it I had trouble getting it off of him without jumping, not sure if this was intended? Was fun either way, though I didn't get to the end because of the controls.

I was excited when I saw the art style, but the gameplay seems to be nonexistent. Audio is WAY too loud too.

The music reminds me of Scooby Doo on the GBC in other words, I like it. The gameplay is far from original but it's Minesweeper, of course it's fun. I also like your art style, simple but clear.

Like Kavi said the text at the start was hard to read but as someone who isn't a fan of making UI I can sympathize with just whacking the text on there.

Really liked this game. The dialogue at the end had me confused as I was expecting another boss, especially since you mentioned "first boss" in the description so I played through again hoping I unlocked some "new game+" boss or something.

Other than that it was very good. Loved the use of checkpoints, would have been infuriating without it. I had no problem with the narrow section myself so I didn't have to do it over and over.

I died a lot and didn't manage to find any happy endings, but I had a "blast" non the less! Lovely art too, my favourite part is the creative story though.

Love the idea and the art, only flaw is the number of levels which I would presume would increase in difficulty, though with a 72 hour jam that isn't much of a criticism.

I did get stuck once though, on the level with the three switches 2 up and 1 down they often wouldn't change. I managed to get the top two changed but the bottom would stay grey and I had to restart to get it to work.

I had a feeling the "1d4" thing wasn't a bug, but just to be sure I mentioned it anyway, thanks for the explanation.

I found the %appdata%/LOVE/ folder but no neilmakesgames-dungeon-of-flowers folder is there. I'm using the itch.io downloader thing, maybe it moves it?

I'll have another play now and give more feedback if there is anything to note, thanks for the fast fixes!

Died a lot on 1.2, but playing 1.3 it's a lot better. Here are some problems I have been having though (Windows build, if it matters):

  • Info for Weapons shows "1d4 Damage" for example. I assume that's not correct? I don't play many games like this, maybe it means something.
  • Resizing the window with special effects on turns the entire screen black, unable to do anything from that point, had to close and restart (Just tested this again and things still work since I managed to navigate the menu and save, but it's just black when you go back to continue)
  • Enemies don't seem to be able to walk through doors even if they are open
  • Found this door
  • Also either screenshots with P don't work or I can't find where it saves them
  • And I just crashed moving into what I believe was the 6th Floor

Overall I had fun with it though, I look forward to playing future builds.

Side note, I don't like the camera in some situations. It can be a fairly large room and being able to only see the opposite corner of the room that I want to is frustrating. Hopefully that makes some sense, if not I'll try and draw an example for you.
