Thats a cool idea! Originally our plan was for the player to have a stamina bar that is constantly going down, so you need to constantly grab Mouse and Pete power ups to keep moving. But we had to simplify it a bit as we were running out of time.

I loved the upgrade mechanic. It was a fun game and it is a nice feeling seen how overpowered you are when you have all the upgrades lmao. I feel it would be better to add more stamina when you have 0 upgrades. I barely could last like 5 seconds so I had to grind some cash to play normally.

Steering felt rough and the objective of the game wasn't clear enough. I do think the game has potential. Cycling around with the music playist in the background was very enjoyable. The movement also felt a bit better when going a high speeds. 

I loved the visuals! I agree that is not very integrated with the theme of jam, but the gameplay loop was fun. Adding a way to slow down the officier for extra points would be cool! Good job!

You guys went all out on the art, it has such and unique look! Handpainting for a 3 day game jam is insane to me lmao. The story and minigames were pretty fun. Amazing work y'all.

The art and music are phenomenal!!! The gameplay is pretty janky so it feels pretty unfair when fighting against the banana throwing monkeys. If you guy think of updating the game after the game jam I will definitvely give it a try!

Also a Jojo reference is always a win in my book. Great job!

I love how the game looks. The art, sounds effects, bg music were all really good. The pedaling mechaning was fun, but my hands started to get tired after the third playtrhough lol. It would be good if a tutorial or instructions of the objective were added on the game.

The player model is really pretty and the gameplay is simple, but fun. Like other people said, it would be great is you could break the barrels by crashing with them, but I was having a lot of fun jumping from barrel to barrel lmao.

The aesthetics are really cool. Both the music and art combine perfectly. I love how you added the donations and the bar with the funds raised.  It's a shame the obstacles did not work as it would make the gameplay more engaging. Good job!

It took me a while to get used to the controls, but after that I had a lot of fun trying to reach Mousy as the most uncordinated biker in the world lmao. The game has a lot of charm. The art is also really cool! Good work!

It was a fun game, but also a bit stressful. I would have rage quitted if it wans't for the checkpoints lmao. The art and  music were are very nice. Good job!

I really like the art in your game! We also made an infinte side scroller  so it's fun to see the approach you guys took with it. The mouse movement feels good and the gameplay is fun. Great work!

It is an interesting concept. I couldn't get over the huge ramp at the beginning lmao.

It may be a little late, but I will add a description of the items in the game:

MUST AVOID:

  • Oranges: they will slow you down.
  • Chris: if you touch him it will be a instant game over.

MUST GRAB:

  • Peter and Ironmouse: will grant you and speed boost.

Thanks for trying our game! I think the way the character moves, combined with the moving background may be causing it. I wish I had play tested it a bit more before submitting it lmao. I'm glad you liked it!!

It was very fun. I liked the wall running and the banana jump, they made moving around pretty fun (I felt it was a bit to floaty though) and the art was beautiful. Good Job!

I like you game, the platforming was challenging but fun (specially the banana parrying)!!! We used the same asset part for our game too. Great job!

This is such a cool game! I love the Hotline Miami style and the companions system was pretty good. It was a bit hard to see the bananas some time so I would try to make them more noticable.

I like the visuals and the music of your game! They gave a really cozy vibe.  Also the beginning/ending cinematic were very entertaining and the NPC dialogue was really fun. The player movement felt slow so it was a bit boring moving through the map, specially when going to the mountain. There were also some weird collisions were the character would get stuck but it was nothing game breaking. Good work!

Loved the game! You guys gave an interesting spin to the Jump King mechanics and everything from the visuals, UI, animations, music, and sound effects are top notch. I still trying to beat it though lol.
