I really like the concept and I like the different mechanics implemented, but to me it felt unclear what I had to do and sometimes it felt a tiny bit frustrating. In the end I figured it out though, but I think a little explanation about some of the controls could help a great deal! I did think you captured the emotions very well, especially in the first 2 levels! Also, the thumbnail is really nice, it made me excited about your game right away! Great choice
Thank you for your feedback! We understand what you mean. Our initial idea was to add multiple levels with multiple conditions and conflicting values. Right now, in this prototype, there is a solution to 'win' and balance all three to trigger the win state. But maybe it's not clear enough for the player yet, so we'd have to work on that. We didn't have time to balance the mechanics nor to test them on an audience so this is very helpful. Thank you!
What a nice way to make a marble course more interesting! I really like the concept. It feels quite satisfying to play, though I think it might enhance the experience if the sounds of the notes would be a bit less electronic and more soothing, in the same style of the background music. I think then it would enhance the peaceful feeling. Maybe the icons on the top right could be a bit bigger as well, so that it migt be more intuitive to the user to grab those. For me it was a bit unclear until I saw the description, and maybe making them a tad bit bigger would make it obvious enough right away.
But those are only small things I noticed, overall I really like it, well done!
I like the assets a lot, they are beautiful and blend well with the music. The mechanic of switching between the 2 characters is very fun :) At first I thought it was a glitch when the characters got stuck to the edges but I think that would be easy to fix with a new sprite pose when they hit the wall. But ofcourse I understand that there were time constraints so take that with a grain of salt. I think you did a great job!
