I liked the concept, but I would randomly die in places. Also, I think the movement could be improved as it feels like Pacman where you have to time each turn before you're at the turn. Finally, the movement sound can get annoying. However, with some small improvements, the game could become a really fun game with room to expand in any way you see fit. Fun game!

Thanks! I spent a good amount of time working on those last levels! I played your game and I think that if you continue development, a story-driven game would be a good fit as it could be about, for example, two robots trying to escape and make it out into the real world!

The concept seems cool but the rope and collisions were very buggy. I only could use the rope in the first room, the pots in the second room would sometimes float in midair, and I would frequently go through walls. However, I think with some improvements, this could be a very cool game that would lend itself to a story-driven game!

Yeah, it is crazy how just one mechanic can change levels. My main inspiration was baba is you as it is also a tile puzzle game. Your game had an amazing art style, very Gameboy-like and pokemon-like style.

Really liked the art style of the game! Some of the collisions seemed off like bumping into plants and having to leave and touch fruits again. Still, a really solid concept with a lot of potential if expanded upon!

Yeah, a tutorial was something I was in between about. Because part of it is about having those "Ah Ha" moments. But then you also want to make sure they know how to do it. So I tried to use the markings on the ground to try to guide the player which I don't know how well it went. I played your game and really liked the slime art and the movement!

Really cool concept! One critique is that many of the levels felt tedious as you had to just continue duplication and it only made little green slimes. Still a nice concept and a cool twist on 2048!

Your progress is saved even in the browser from what I've tested. The game is definitely super difficult past level 3. The robot was kind of there just because he was super easy to make. No real reason lol! Tried your game and it had some very nice art!

Neat game for such a short time! But some premade audio and music tracks could have made this game much better. The art was really nice for the character and golem!

Thanks! You posted this comment twice! Checked out your game and liked how you laid out the menu and the models!

I liked the concept but had trouble getting to where I could get an item and use it. Some critiques would be a silhouette when a player is behind something (Brackeys did a tutorial on this) and getting control of the other player when you die in one player mode. However, I am grateful you included a one-player mode which is a nice touch. I also really liked the menu and 3d models! Cool game!

Thanks! A lot of that movement polish was done on the last day when I was rushing to get it done! I liked your game and you had a banger soundtrack!

That music is fire! I loved that soundtrack as well as the art! My only critique which is really something optional is that if you expand on this game, I think only requiring a set number of monkeys instead of all of them could open itself up to some interesting levels. Also, some more visual guides to show what button does what. I still really like the game and still can't get over how nice that music is!

Edit: I forgot to add that the difficulty curve is very well done!

Thanks! I tried your game and really liked your funny narrations!

I liked the content of the narrations but it was not high quality. I understand you were going for an ai feel, but you should have not made the audio like that. A lot of the shaders and the normal map were cool!

Thanks! The game definitely has a massive difficulty spike near level 4 and beyond. I tried your game and I really liked it, especially the design of the game!

Really liked the premise and the art and music were used really well. This could be easily expanded on into a roguelike or Metroidvania where you find different monsters to join your team. Great Job!

Thanks! This was the first game I made that used grid movement so it was an experiment that I'm happy paid off!

It's cool to know you like the track! I'm not good at music so any compliment is big for me. Some boxes are definitely spread out too much such as level 4. Thanks for the feedback and I liked your game too!

Thanks for the compliments! Music is definitely not my strong suit as for it, I just went to beepbox.co and just put notes randomly around until I found something that sounded acceptable! I played your game and I liked some of the hectic nature, art, and fighting mechanic!

This game is really fun but some things need balancing. It's very easy to get ganged up and die or just be cornered so invincibility frames would be nice. I also think that flares don't make any sense as the whole point is to have them spread out and flares group them together. However, the art is really nice, and the sound effects are great as well!

Thanks! The walls are really meant to be like a void or hole but it makes sense why you and others think it's a wall because of the brick flooring. I will admit that the difficulty spike is one of the issues with the game as it goes from tutorial to very hard pretty fast! I played and rated your game and had a blast jumping and running around, trying to dodge the lasers!

I like the frantic nature of the game! Running around fast, while dodging lasers, and then trying to get the crates hit. One thing which I don't know if it's a bug or feature is lasers can go through metal crates I do like this game a lot, especially that final boss.

Really good game! I like how as he gets bigger, it indirectly becomes harder to control him as a result of his size. I also like the art, especially of the dragon. Overall, an amazing game with an amazing take on the theme!

The game had a very cool concept that opens itself to levels of new designs for each power. However, the character felt very slippery. I would be standing on a platform edge and he would slide off. This was either due to physics or the speed of the character. The camera also slightly annoyed me as it didn't pan to where I was going. Finally, a slight bug was I completed one level while on spikes with both characters which probably shouldn't be the case. Even with all of these criticisms, this game could really become something nice with some more polishing. Oh, and the art is amazing, especially at the start!

The walls are meant to be like a void tile. However, I can understand your confusion as when you look at all the art together, it makes zero sense. A robot goes through a dungeon, pushing boxes off into nothingness while going into portals and pressing buttons.  I realized the zero coherence like the last day lol. I played and rated your game and I had a blast shooting the monsters in the face and dashing through them.

The stronger together theme is that boxes are able to go over the void tiles (and the later seen bridge tiles) when at least one box in a chain is on the ground, hence they are stronger together. Another small form of it comes that they are able to weigh down bigger buttons when there are more of them together although that's a slight stretch as many of the buttons are single ones and it's also not coded that way.  Thanks for the feedback and I'll make sure to check your game out!

EDIT: I checked out your game and it was a nice experience. Cool mechanic with really nice art!

This was a really good game. I've seen a lot of two people games and this was one of the most well-executed ones, if not the best one. There's something about it that makes me really like it. I can't pinpoint it but I do know I like it. I think a slightly faster movement speed would've been nice, maybe like a sprint where you can't attack so it adds some more choices but it's still a great game even without it!

A puzzle game where you push boxes together to help them cross gaps as they are stronger together.

Do you see what I did there?

I'll stop now.

Yeah, that level is a massive spike in difficulty. I've seen two ways to do it with one being much easier than what I intended. My hint is that you want boxes near you to push onto the button while standing near the portal. I really liked your game with its duality mechanic! (Probably not the right word but I'll go with it!)

I really liked the concept of the game but the drone was immensely overpowered. I beat the game with just the drone. I don't think he should be able to trigger the next levels or go under the map. I understand why the bugs of sort exist though, as this is a game jam. Overall, a really neat concept that could be made really nice with some more polish and touch-ups to the code.

Thanks for the compliments! All that shine is from post-processing! I was tempted to put in 2d lights, but I could never get it to look how I wanted. I also find it funny that we both made box games!

Those levels are really nice. I especially like the double pink boxes as I hurled myself and missed but saved myself with the second one midair! Really nice game with a lot of effort that went into it!

Thanks for the feedback! The game definitely spikes at level 4 as there are a lot more steps to do to win. I liked your game, especially with the rhythm fights and the dead body art!

I liked this game especially as the music got bigger. However, one area that could be improved is having the rhythm attacks be synced with the music. I know that would be difficult but would definitely help and not feel like I'm trying to fight with the song but I understand why you probably couldn't have. It's still a great game with a lot of potential!

Thanks for the feedback! Art is definitely where I struggle as well as music. I liked your game as it gave me some nice Gameboy vibes!

Thanks! I made this kind of game because I had never made a puzzle game or a tile-based game so I thought they would work together pretty well. Your game also had some good puzzles and I liked how each character needed to work with each other!

The eyes were cool and creepy when they looked at you. I like the more active approach to the tower defense genre. One minor problem was the mouse sensitivity was too high for me but it wasn't game-breaking.  Besides that, a great game concept which could be expanded on a lot!
