In what way does your game fit the theme?
In this game, you can merge slimes together to form later stages of slime. This fits the theme "stronger together", as we are implying that the slimes become stronger when merged together.
In addition, the controls for all slimes are tied together, while it is evident that the player can exercise strong control over the slimes.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

Wow, absolutely love your game! The graphics are really cute, and the gameplay is ridiculously fun and clever. Well done!
Wow, that really hurt my brain! This was so much fun (and frustrating, but that's probably not surprising). I don't have any critiques, other than maybe slow down the movement as sometimes I accidentally go in a direction too many times. I made it all the way to level 15, but gave up there, that level feels almost impossible. Our game is actually very similar to this one, plz check it out :)
Thank you so much! Me and @viv29 we're actually in disagreement over the movement speed, I wanted to have it faster and he wanted it slower. I guess I have the unpopular opinion! We will definitely tweak that. An idea I had would be to have the movement be very snappy, but have a delay between moves when holding down the key, I wonder what you think about that? About level 15, we thought it might be a little too hard, so we've already made changes to it for after the jam! It's really cool that your game is so similar to ours! I would play it, but I'm only playing browser games, sorry! Looking at the screenshots, the art looks very nice.
An excellent idea with a functional mechanic and entertaining theme. The way the levels are developed is interesting, as well as the combinations that can be made. The only drawback is in level 5 because the goal box asks for a purple slime, but when you put all the slimes together a blue one is formed and does not allow you to finish the level.
Anyway, the game is interesting and simple, the combinations that can be formed with the slimes is its strongest point, as well as to make a strategy to put them together.
Excellent work!
Thank you!
Level 5 is actually a confusing point for many, which unfortunately slipped through playtesting! We definitely need to add more tooltips/hints to it. One of the game mechanics isn't well explained, which leads people to get stuck on the level: If two slimes of different type touch, they will not combine to form a new color! You will only get the stronger type of slime. For example, if a green slime and a blue slime touch, the resulting slime will still be blue, and the green slime will simply disappear! Because of this, you need to be careful not to let slimes of different types touch, otherwise you will end up "losing" a slime and won't have enough to make the purple one.
Omg I seriously like thses type of puzzle games, rated ;) Nice music! btw also play mine ;) Rate Fultuming Friends by KrrishCaterpiller for Brackeys Game Jam 2021.1 - itch.io hehe
I really like your game!
Pretty fun, made me think a lot, beautiful pixel art, great background music, cute SFXs. What else can you ask for?!
Ok, this is as far i can go on the last level... pass through all of them... but this one, just can't figure out the top 2. Retry several times with different approaches, and this one was the best result, except for the fact that it becomes impossible to fit the to upper slimes without moving the other (angel and devil?)
The game is fun and engaging. Maybe the music too short and repetitive, but it's nice... I realize I was humming while having dinner... so it's not bad, it's really catchy... but after several minutes trying that last hellish level, turns out very repetitive.
You did a great job! Congratulations!
Thanks a lot! We made the last level way too hard and even have trouble winning it ourselves, but I'd say you are the first person to come that close to beating it so great job! I totally agree with you that the music is catchy, @citrus-melon did a great job on it. Thanks for all the feedback, I'll take a look at your game. :D
Really fun game! The puzzles are really well made, sometimes tricky but really satisfying if you finish a level. Sometimes it feels like it's a little bit on the long side, to get one of the last slimes you need to spawn 32(?) of those small green slimes to make a big one in the correct order. Would love to have an undo button for if I accidentally press a button I didn't want to press. Very cute art style and would make for a great mobile game I would think!
The game is really fun, and I like the idea of the puzzle game, keep up the good work
Loved the game and here is a basic list:
1. I loved the artwork, and how detailed the slimes are.
2. I also loved the simple take on the theme. No deep or extra meanings, just "Stronger Together"
3. With some polishing, this could definitely be a commercial game.
:D
Edit: The gameplay is tricky as hell, so props to that :)
Really liked this one!
Cool concept, fun levels which are not to difficult and also satisfying to watch.
Well done!
Great game! Fun gameplay and concept that has a ton of potential. Takes the 2048 concept and applies it to a conventional puzzler. I got stumped multiple times and it was extremely satisfying when I finally solved them.
Now, as a composition major: Music-wise, I think it works well with the gameplay! But if I'm being extremely picky and constructive, I'd recommend looking into mastering and general mixing techniques to further improve your music. (Again it works, this is just being extremely picky; I think it's good!), the bass was a bit too much and muddy, the drums could be loads louder, and there wasn't much high end to my tastes (the lead felt too soft and muddy as well). Hope that helps!
