I agree. I want to somehow make a boss that forces players to make their bullets count but failed miserably lol. I didn't have much time feeling out the bosses as I started way too late and had to do almost everything for the game.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you see a potential in it! <3

Nice and simple game. Good job!

Wow, the art style is gorgeous, and the music is so nice! The gameplay was nice and simple. I feel like survivability buffs are too op though but overall, I enjoyed playing this game and is one of my favorites so far! Good Job

Nice and simple mechanic and controls felt nice! It felt satisfying hitting the spin attack. Second boss' attacks wasn't as telegraphed as I hoped but overall, it's so nice and polished. Good job :)

Thank you for the feedback :)

Quoting from the comment I made on another post:
> "Apologies for the stutters on first playthrough, it was an oversight of the .remap Godot appends (I forgot to trim) to files on export builds hence causing the shader caching I did to not work lmao and I didn't really test it that much since I didn't want to clear cache on my browser for some reason."

oh for sure  ;)

I think I saw it yea. Haven't really played that much games yet (and rated them) but I will try to play their game :)

Thank you!

The projections are just the Godot quad meshes. Since it will get projected, you won't really need a much more complex mesh. The shader also builds the shape, and the whole animation. Apologies for the stutters on first playthrough, it was an oversight of the .remap Godot appends (I forgot to trim) to files on export builds hence causing the shader caching I did to not work lmao and I didn't really test it that much since I didn't want to clear cache on my browser for some reason.

And yep, I'm hearing the game was quite challenging even after all the nerfs to the boss lol but I appreciate you playing and giving feedback <3

Oh for sure, no problem! Was actually planning to rate all games in this one list I made in like a day lmao

Yea the parry can be OP as hell sometime XD Thank you <3

I'm glad it resonated with some people. Thank you :)

Oh wow, thank you :)

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

Thank you :) Actually some people managed to one-shot the boss with parry XD

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

HIYA! Shumzy! I reaally appreciate the feedback btw, it helped me tons. Thank you so much :)

Hiya! I've implemented the decals by using the depth map to get the world position. You can find a snippet somewhere in shadertoy, then it's in world_space/model_space so multiplying it by inv model matrix and use that as uv. I'm also pretty sure someone made  it in godot shaders and you can use that as well.

If you're using Firefox, my build for some reason doesn't run on firefox :(

Same to you :)

Thank you, Mr. Mapper. I'm your No. 1 fan so this means a lot to me XD

Thank you! I watched your other videos too, and you're really underrated. Cheers.

Thank you for the feedback! I agree that the controls are too punishing and would require the tiniest of movements to actually balance atop the bubble, and the momentum upon impact is quite big. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to polish it, but I've created a version that actually feels good, and gain 10k> scores. purrfect pop debug by Blink (itch.io) and the password is 123, in case you want to try.

Really challenging! I thought I was doing good at 100-ish until I saw the leaderboards lol

Simple, nice and cozy! And the aesthetics are top notch. Good job :)

Loved it! Although at first I didn't really realized that it was upside down and you are supposed to go down?

Love this game! It feels a bit unfair to get hit by a lightning shark combo sometimes tho haha

Hiya! I'm primarily a 2D artist/Godot Developer looking to join a team for this jam preferably as an artist. Worked on some game jams before both as an artist and a programmer with some friends. I've always struggled to finish things on time and thought it would be a good idea to join this jam without my friends to improve on that.

You can check my previous game jam submissions as my portfolio on my itch.io page.  Here are some of my notable game jam submissions, Yokai Detective Kou, Transfusion Tactics

Edit: You can pm me on my discord, blinkblinkblink

Thank you! <3

I really like the art direction. Reminded me of those cinematic japanese themed duels with only their silhouettes showing. Had a lot of fun playing this. Good Job!

A nice simple game. Good job.

Really cozy. It felt a bit lacking since there are no end goal besides completing the upgrades. The music and art is nice and felt really relaxing.

Thank you! I guess it would be better if I put in the description that the goal was to make the guy drink his coffee ;p

Gotcha! I figured it would be better if there are no hint besides the basic controls, which is point and click, since the game is kinda easy. I thought it would be better to let the players figure it out, smth akin to a puzzle game.

Thanks! We're glad you enjoyed it as much as we do! And thanks for reporting the bug. It should be fixed on the latest Win build.

Hiya! Are you using windows? We've updated the windows build on the game page and solved the issue. Do you mind checking if the issue still persists? Thanks!

Simple and fun!
