I found this for the Deck. https://playingcards.io/game/standard-deck

But am still looking for a block tower Online option

at some point it was on our list of ideas to have crew interactions trigger some events for the player. It just didn't make the cut for the jam unfortunately. glad you enjoyed it!

Glad I could provide that feeling. You deserve it. This was an awesome submission! You should be proud

I love the enemy designs. definitely a cool take on a cyber apocalypse future. I didnt realize there was a bottom floor until the third enemy.  So I was trying to stay jumping between the 3 plaforms for a while and the game became much more manageable once I stepped down to the floor. Super cool idea. I enjoyed the game a lot!

I go to lvl 50 before realizing what the esc button did. I thought the game would end so I never pressed it until I was like "there is no way there is anything more" idk if there is a better way to communicate that without spoiling it doesnt end but also like... maybe I am just a mean person who never thought to just stop feeding the poor guy. Is there any other images after lvl 50? because if so I think thats a little absurd. its takes so long to level up after like 35. Unless that ties into the Infinity theme in which case it makes sense but I thought something would happen and it never did.

Very cool story! and honestly as much as its a horror take its probably fairly close to what would happen if something similar was created. at some point its kind of inevitable isnt it? I think thats part of what makes this really scary is you know it has to happen and avoiding the end only makes it hurt more when it finally happens. Awesome job!

The sounds and atmosphere really got to me. I actual paused and reset to put on a sweater because I got chills. Really love the use of lighting and sound to really make the ghost terrifying. after I beat the game once I went back and just stared at the ghost sprite in the chase scene and let myself die and its really cool how that sprite isnt actually all that scary but since the game hurts you for looking at it the mechanic makes you see it so breifly your mind fills in blanks and makes it SO much worse. This was super cool. I also really appreciated the ending. Wont say anything about it to avoid spoilers for others. but I think it a very cool ending. Awesome work!

The suspense of this game was fantastic. It didnt take me long to realize no matter what I was going to die. but the fear of how and knowing there was still stuff I could do to prolong my existence was nerve wracking. Like knowing you will face the end and not being able to come to terms with it. It was super cool to be able to evoke that feeling through text alone. Love this submission. great work!

Yes the good ending is the fact there is an end.

I get it friend. Definitely been at the point where you gotta cut stuff to make sure the project is finished. Was just curious! Always excited to try out all the characters! :)

we have definitely had playthrough tests were 3 enemies spawned at the same location and insta wiped us haha. Definitely a thing to learn from and improve on in the future! Thank you so much for the feedback!

I'm glad you were unsettled! It was intentional. As weird as that kinda is to say.

Thank you for the feedback! We used a PSX shader/ unity configuration... Thing? Cnharlan knows more about how we set that up and could tell you more! But it was a thing we applied to unity to lower the resolution.

I'm glad the reading engaged you! It was something we were worried people would try to skip past or ignore so I'm glad it landed for you!

The lack of expressed purpose was definitely something we noticed a little late into development and we didn't have time to build a solution for. Definitely a note we are gonna keep in mind for future projects!

Thanks so much for playing! :D

thank you for the feedback! I hadn't thought about how it gives it a claustrophobic feel. But now that you mention it I see it!

very creepy! great monster designs both visually and gameplay wise! Definitely did not like the Ear dood appearing behind me all the time and the spiders darting across my screen and screaking gave me chills. Very cool. Unfortunately got bugged after I got the last key. I died and ended up inside one of the ear doods and just dying over and over. Will definitely have to do another run to see the ending. Nice work! It was a joy to play!

Seriously though this is super cool! The spiders are very creepy and the bear model is ADORABLE. I love his little armor. And I plunging attacked A LOT. Very effect way of removing spiders.  I think an interesting thought since the story is that you are protecting the kid is that there are certain bugs that go after the player and certain ones that go after the kid. that could add a little more stakes in the game or just have the health bar for the kid and have it kinda be a defense mission. since the map is on the simpler side anyway that could be cool. Really enjoyed the game! Nice job!

Try Plunging Attack!

Yea its giving a 404 page unfound for me too. Is it still a draft or something? :( I saw your screenshots in the discord and was excited to play this one

Love the art style! All the monsters are very scary looking. Definitely gets a little overwelming towards the end as the monsters are so abundant. That might be a good thing though. Had me play through a few times to get a win. Fun game! Did the Flasher not make it in as a playable character? I thought it was like someone you would save or something in the title screen but then I saw them in the character select screen screenshot.

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Fun fact about the character designs, our composer said to invent weird instruments and he would make music to match and somehow that turned into demons. They were super fun to design! Glad you liked them!

I'm glad the world drew you in so much! The jumping sound is also my favorite!

There is no gameplay change on the final screen. We tried to appeal to the theme more in the story and art direction.

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for playing :D

is this because Im first? Lol genuinely curious! The idea is super cool

Concept is super cool! I love having all the knights follow me around as I battle through the ruins! The second to last level wasnt very conducive to acquiring more knights which was kinda sad because everytime I went to claim one I would die before I could get them. But other than that I really enjoyed the game! nice work!

Unsure if the comments really are the players that come to help you since I was one of the first to play but I am excited to come back to it and confirm that when more people have come to play! Super interesting concept and the controls feel nice. Had a good time!

When you are one of the first people to Play so their are no comments yet to assist you *Cries*

Really love the art! the stones look super cool and the effects are awesome too! The game mechanic makes sense but I feel like the character is constantly taking damage and I can't tell if its the ghost enemies or me hitting stuff or what. Some better indicator of what is doing damage to you would probably help.

I love how this is Phrased lol Sam and Sam

this is all wonderful feedback! Thank you so much!

Our idea with the theme was less light more beauty/more information because you see more in the dark. However if that theme didn't land with you through playing it we didn't achieve our goal as well as we thought. Which is a learning experience in itself!

Definitely agree with the glows and how they didn't seem consistent over the fish versus the game markers.

In hind sight when you talk about the markers being a different pixel style you reminded me that I actually made 2 sets of objective decals and chose the simpler ones because at some point there was an idea to put them in the statues and we just never went with that idea. But they stayed styled differently because of it.

There is a lot of good feedback here to learn from thank you so much for taking the time to write this out! We appreciate it :)

This game feels and looks really great! The fights were really good and had me on my toes from time to time! Super awesome game!

:D thank you!!!!!!

it adds to the creepy vibes? We used it as a mechanic to make sure if you pushed the stone into a corner you could get it out and not have to restart the game.

thank you so much! :D We really appreciate the compliment and are glad to enjoyed playing!

This was so interesting to think through! A great puzzle game for sure! Also really fits the theme with less money/points and less health being crucial for success! great job!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Making sure the decals were more pronounced than the background creatures was something I was fighting with a lot throughout the week! Do you have any ideas on how we could make that more apparent?

Awe thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it! We realized there were a few too narrow paths in the last hours when we had our friends and family play testing too! Definitely a lesson to be learned for our next jam :) thanks so much!

Turning off the light still gets me every time! Thanks!

I really enjoyed this! the AI is really good and had me on my toes a few times! I also really like the wizard sprites! part of me wanted them to be animated but there was also a nice simplicity to them being static. Fun game!
