Reminded me of contra hardcorps (or Probotector for the ones who know it) arena fights hehe but funnier.  It made me laugh quite a few times, from the intro scene to the first meatsack opponent who is a complete pushover, (but then the challenge spikes immediately hehe).  Challenging and fun!

Great work!

Contra Hard Cops was a direct inspiration! these days I've been playing a lot of cContra in Genesis emulator(along with the Alien Wars in snes) but Hard Cops in particular is insane in the boss department, their animations and transformations led a bit to the idea of these giant machine bosses. Also Gunstar Heroes was another inspiration. Run n gun games are the definition of cool hehe

Run and gun games are 100% the definition of cool! And I truly can't say enough how much I loved Probotector (I actually knew it as that before I knew it was called Contra Hard Corps) hehe. I agree the bosses were fantastic! It had multiple routes through the game and even bosses that only showed up if you had more than one player playing. A work of art. Alien wars was awesome too.

Great ones to be inspired by.

Loved how this game was oozing with style! The art is really good and I chuckled at the story and context for the game.

The boss designs were really well done. I like how the missiles they shoot out give the game a fair amount of depth and complexity to them justifying the large health pools they have. Experimenting with the positioning to get the best possible damage was really fun. Their movement patterns were really good and I feel like some kind of powered up special attack that I can save up for certain encounters would elevate the experience tenfold! Understanding their attack patterns more to find the best possible damage output was fun and I would've loved something to top that cake!

Awesome submission!

Thanks Jonty!

Good job, very creative. ^^  Seeing the enemy health gave me a bit trouble, it's not so easy to spot. But I loved your humorous intro scene and sound effects! The premise (partly) made me think of Utawarerumono... but you'd only understand if you played that, lol. Oh yes, I also did not realise there was a bottom floor at first ^^

Developer

thanks nebelstern! i'm cheking out Utawarerumono to see whats that about :P

Aw man, I love this kind of messed up WarioWare design, I really like the opening cutscene and the squash and stretch of the jump, a lot of things in this game really hit the spot!

Thanks greenClovers!

I love the enemy designs. definitely a cool take on a cyber apocalypse future. I didnt realize there was a bottom floor until the third enemy.  So I was trying to stay jumping between the 3 plaforms for a while and the game became much more manageable once I stepped down to the floor. Super cool idea. I enjoyed the game a lot!

Nice game. I loved the background song, it was a banger and fit the theme well. I thought that being able to destroy projectiles was a nice mechanic that made the game more fun/skill-based. I also thought the theme was absurd in a good way. Although, I will admit that the line about making the meatsacks breed had me thinking about the logistics of that (something I never wished to think about). Nice work on the game!

Thanks Rumsey! glad to hear that the background song is a banger since music is not my main skill :P . I actually meant the humans breed to turn their babies into meatsacks but it's funny as hell to picture 2 sacks having a baby sack haha

Interesting game! It’s pretty fun, I managed to get around 6 kills before stopping. If you make more bosses, it’d be pretty cool! The art style reminds me of the final boss fight from a certain indie game ;)

I also loved the intro you did! Funny story with the graphics and the robot voice, really adds a nice touch :)

Developer

thanks a lot! What's the indie game? Going to look at it for reference :P
