Pretty fun game. I love the variety of obstacles, but sometimes they are a little too complex to figure out in time. I died pretty much every time I encountered a new type of obstacle. That's not a problem on it's own, but it gets a little repetitive because you have to go back to the basic obstacles when you restart.

Definitely wasn't expecting to see a metroidvania here lol. Pretty ambitious for a jam

The game is fun, but there are a few annoying bugs like getting stuck in the walls. I also couldn't figure out how to break blocks above the character, so I wasn't able to finish it

One of those "obviously a GMTK jam submission but I didn't know about it during the jam so I'm glad I found it now"  sort of games

This is more fun to play than actual Uno

I love the concept and the art is adorable! The game loop is a bit repetitive, thoughy. Also I wasn't sure what caused the FPS to drop. Was it because I wasn't following the instructions correctly?

Cool game! The blue square disappeared when I died on the 3rd level so I had to reload the game. Probably a bug

Thanks for the feedback! Synergies happen when a clip connects with the previous one in a way that makes sense (or that I found funny when testing). They are what improves your score at the end. I've been thinking of some ways to make this mechanic clearer.
Those weird clips just had  their name cut off lol. I just need to ajust the text.

I like the concept. Everyone says the fairys are annoying, but no one thinks of how annoyed they are at us. The game screen is just a bit too tall for my monitor so it took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do because the whole inventory was obscured

Real funny take! But it does get pretty repetitive after a while

I really wanted to play it, but it automatically enters full screen mode so a lot of the text gets out of the bounds of my screen. If there was some way to zoom out a bit I couldn't figure out how. I'm not leaving a rating since I couldn't play the game properly, but I thought I should share my experience here.

I thought this would be repetitive, but it's actually pretty fun! Especially when it's kind of ambiguous if a viewer will like a video or not so you're forced to really think about what you know. It would be fun to have some extra risks and rewards for your decisions, like a bonus for finding videos the viewer didn't know they'd like.

Real solid, polished game! Aesthetic is on point

Loved the parody names. I think my favorite is just "Starve". The art also really helps sell it

Man, I completely forgot about that. Thank you

Man, your version is so much better tho!

Thank you so much!

If you don't mind, could you elaborate a bit more about what made you feel confused? I want to work on making the mechanics easier to understand after the voting period ends, so any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I'm a sucker for anime parodies so I really enjoyed how you used tropes as part of your design. The character dialogues work well to prompt the player and the randomly generated names are a fun nod to the type of nonsense you see in Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

My only complaint is that there is no sense of progression. For a moment I wasn't sure if the game would end or if it would just keep generating prompts forever. Showing the characers' life points would have solved that problem imo.

If you're interested in expanding the concept outside of the jam I would love to see some sort of story mode, maybe with scripted duels?

I saw this on my feed and thought it was just a new game, then I discovered it was a submission for the GMTK Jam an it surprised me a lot lol. The game itself is very fun and incredibly polished for something made in 48h. The "Roles Reversed" part is not clear to me tho...

Thank you!

Thanks! I chose the isometric perspective basically because I think it looks cool ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  and I wanted the player to have a clear view of the level being built in front  of them. A lot of people had trouble with this perspective, but I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for the detailed feedback!

Thanks! I spent a lot of time polishing the tutorial, so is nice to hear that it works as intended!

Oh, that's a problem I didn't predict... Thank's for informing me! I'll see if I can fix it once I can edit the game

Loved the music and the cute frogs :3

Thanks for your feedback! A lot of people complained about the perspective, I'll have to see what I can do to fix it.

Wow, they really are pretty similar! Mine was even going to have a chain as well, but I abandoned that idea because it was too complicated for what I was going for. Anyway, thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Loved the idea! But I think the characters are a little too big, which makes them harder to control as well.

Loved the visuals, but the gameplay is a little frustrating. I think the game starts too hard and it doesn't give you much time to understand the controls. Maybe the enemies could be introduced later in the game to make it easier at the begining? Other than that, I think this is a pretty solid entry.

Thank you!

Thanks! Yeah, it's some very basic procedural generation. I made a ton of obstacles and the game randomly selects one each time to keep building the level. It's the only way to make it infinite : )

Couldn't finish it because it kept reminding me of my own anxious experiences at parties, but I did love the visuals and the puzzle design. Great game!

I've seen a few games in this jam with the same concept, but this is one of the best ones. It's simple and elegant, with same great puzzle design. Good job!

Thanks for commenting! I can't edit the game right now, but once I can I'll see if I can improve the controls

Thank you for the suggestions!

Thanks for your input! I'll see what I can do to fix it once I can edit the game

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! I really liked yours as well!

Yeah, that's a common complaint. Thanks for the feedback anyway!

Thank you!
