Cool game! I like it. I was only confused when I had to match the silhouette when the character is moving.
I particularly enjoyed this concept! I can imagine this game scaling well as the "developer" starts implementing more game mechanics like enemies, moving platforms, or powerups that all need to be handled, like Papers Please. The drag and drop works well, but if we're following a grid it might behoove to have some snapping in place.
Awesome game! We had kind of the same "reversal" idea but your execution was infinite times better then we even thought possible! Haha Great job!
Very cool idea! A bit tough to understand how my drags were being evaluated, so some more feedback about my placements would be cool. Regardless, I really enjoyed playing through it!
I love the concept and the art is adorable! The game loop is a bit repetitive, thoughy. Also I wasn't sure what caused the FPS to drop. Was it because I wasn't following the instructions correctly?
Nice game! I like the idea, it must have been hard to make it work. Im quite interested in how the base mechanic of the game works in engine, if you could share it. :D (Im not that smart on this stuff, Im the artist of our team, but Id still like to know!) Some more feedback would be nice, but nothing can be perfect in a gamejam game. Also the music didnt loop for me. Otherwise I liked it! Congrats!
Really cool concept!
I did struggle with predicting the moves, though. I also didn't know whether I was doing good or not, could maybe be something to put inside the console log thingy of each move?
Still, really cute art! Also, I got 400 fps. Maybe I only got 10 points then but I got 400 fps. Worth it to me!
Cool idea. More direct feedback on your moves might be nice (for example a points number popup after you submit a frame showing you how well you did).
Sound balance is a bit L O U D though. :)
this is so clever! I wish there was audio throughout the whole game, it cut off well before i finished the level. That being said, the audio that is there could stand to be turned down a bit - I had to turn my volume down to around 2-4 for it to be at a reasonable level, which is nearly off. More feedback would be great - I had a hard time figuring out if I actually placed the sprite correctly or not, and a lot of times the player would input commands that didn't make sense that made me wonder if I wasn't in the right place on the map. Still, really cool game, would love to see this developed further.
I am amazed how you managed to build this in 48 hours! It's super impressive and, as a CS nerd, I absolutely love the premise of the game.
It reminds me of the fun I had playing games like Shenzhen I/O, etc. I look forward to seeing more of this!
Was a lot of fun, but it would be cool if the player's movement made a bit more sense at times XD
Cute game, if a lil tedious at times
This Is An Amazing Design Game! I Feel As It's One Of Those Game That Took And Made A Great Spin On The Theme!
