This is a great idea, and the art is simply fabulous. Creating a system of randomized narratives is really sort of a complex endeavor! In my own experience it can be daunting to work out the details but also to trim down the ideas. I am wondering given more time if you had an even broader scope for this project?
I'm asking because I have on-and-off tried to create a board game that features randomized cards that create narratives between them, the theme is a sort of cyclical "Joseph-Campbell-esque" Hero's Journey, where you keep reliving and altering a narrative. I get totally flummoxed by my own attempt at mechanics and making it all work!
Anyway, I think this is a fantastic job!
Ha ha! This is great! I'm stuck on the "which finger do you want to loose" screen, but I keep on restarting it to see the great creatures. Are some of those fingers just some sausages the player has on hand? Will you start off having to cut off your actual fingers? I look forward to playing more when its all fixed up! What do you do when you don't have enough fingers for a scissors? I guess I'll find out later...
Anyway, this is amazing.
I liked it, even though I got knocked out when I tried an uppercut and the other palooka countered! The crowd had many men with unibrows and I blame them for distracting me. I was thinking it would be great to have an indication about the other boxers strategy! Anyway I had fun and you have made something great that could easily be expanded on!
