Congrats on finishing another game! The sprites are excellent and go well with the tileset, the player movement and combat feels really slick and satisfying. Enjoyed reading the devlog too, I really need the healing haha. I think with that and the combat tweaks it would have a great base to build further if you want.
I'd like to use a controller with this kind of game, I know it's not exactly a priority for a gamejam but maybe that's something you can consider next time? Actually the movement seems to work already, just can't attack :)

Yay another pico-8 game! Really like the graphics especially the snow effect. Very impressive considering you finished it in 5 days. Appreciate the detailed dev log too.
One suggestion I'd have is to make more of a distinction between the good and bad things to help the player... for example I think the bad rocks are grey but the good platforms you jump on are also grey. I know it's difficult with the limited palette though!
Thanks for the game.
I liked the graphics (nice palette!) and it definitely fits the theme. Small things though, it would be nice to have some more interaction with the NPCs and maybe a little arrow indicating where to return to. Congrats on finishing your game!
PS. The text in the HTML version looks blurry in windowed mode. It looks ok in fullscreen mode. I think you might be able to fix this by adjusting the resolution from the 'edit game' page - maybe give that a try?
Really great concept and graphics! I'd definitely play a card game like this. As another player mentioned though, I found myself stuck in a loop without any way to play cards. If there was just a way to "skip+discard" or another way to exchange your cards, this little game would be pretty flawless imo. Really nice work, thanks for the game!
I finished it! Really nice soundtrack, liked the glow of the crystals on the platforms. The house art at the ending was my favourite piece and a nice reward for finishing.
If I would suggest one thing, I think the art of the tiles and the player are both great but don't quite fit together (the tiles are higher resolution?), so it would be nicer if they were consistent. Great work though, thanks for the game!
