aww thank you so much <3 I'm glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for your kind words! Oh dear, a bit woozy xP is definitely not what I wanted ahaha. I will make sure to tweak that once judging is over! And yup the punishing platformer trap is real... I'm glad you liked the artwork!

Thank you for your kind comments! I will absolutely look into game difficulty in the future. Glad you enjoyed!

Aw thank you for your great tip on game readability! I will definitely try it out and play with values so the foreground is more visually distinct - I fell into the trap of trying to make everything look good artistically and didn't spare too much thought for readability this time o-o. Coyote time is another feature I really want to implement in future games! I'm glad you enjoyed ^^

Thank you for your comments! I will definitely look into tweaking the environment to make it a better experience once the jam is over. Love that you appreciated the checkpoint frequency too - one of my pet peeves is having to redo huge sections of games so was definitely conscious of checkpoint placement when I was designing the levels! I'm glad you enjoyed! o/

Ooh amazing first game! I love the variety of tools that are given and it was especially fun hurling nets and deciding which druids to shoot vs which druids to just run past! Great music and sound effects as well. I love the nod that every creature you kill will come back to haunt you - that's very clever and "unexpected"! :D

It was a bit difficult to gauge how many hits I could take before dying (in both the real and spirit world) so a health bar or equivalent would be great! As well, it was sometimes hard to see which tools were available so a meter to show their cooldown would have been very helpful - as I resorted to flailing my axe and just spamming left click to shoot when it reloaded. As others have said, great use of the wildcards! Great game o/

I love the theme and concept of elementals! I agree with some comments that some of the puzzles were a bit too challenging for me (novice puzzler here), so maybe a hint system or clearer link between which buttons corresponded to which doors would have been helpful (I did feel bad for having to skip levels I was stuck on). The menu with the skip and resetting was a little hard to find at first so an indicator would also be great! I found myself trapped between two rocks and thought "surely there's a way to reset the level" so clicked around until I found it. The bed is a nice nod to the wildcard zzz by the way! The water and fire systems in the game are such cool features, I wish more was done with the fire as it did feel "water bucket spammy" at some points, and pyromania is just. fun lol.

Otherwise, great game! And I love the art too, especially the flames and bg sprites!

Thank you for your feedback!! I agree that the first jump is probably too big of a spike in difficulty - rebalancing is on the horizon! The cutscenes definitely warrant reworking as well - I didn't have enough time to get them implemented with the skip button or player control like you said ;-;. Will definitely include them in my next game! I'm glad you enjoyed overall!

Thank you for your comment!! I'm glad you liked the art :3

I agree with the thorns being a bit too unforgiving - that's definitely something I want to revisit once the judging period is over! Turns out the initial thought of making them the same colour as the tiles so they would blend better is not the best user experience choice... I'm glad you enjoyed it overall ^^/

Aw thank you for the high praise!! I'm really glad my first game went well. Level difficulty is definitely a point to consider more in the future - I think when you're playtesting as the developer, you become a bit too familiar with the mechanics and how to judge the difficulty ahaha. Thank you for playing! :3

Thank you!! The physics is definitely a side of godot that I want to explore more. I'm glad you liked the visuals and hope I can make even better games in the future ^^

Thank you for such detailed feedback! And yes, finishing my first GWJ was so rewarding - just getting a game out there to be played. I'm really happy to join a supportive game dev community! Thank you for the feedback on the camera movement, it will definitely be something I look into more with future games. Playing with the axis is something new for me to consider :D

I'm glad you liked my art style! It felt great to come back to art (I haven't drawn anything in over a year, but pixel art was such a cool medium I'm loving it!). Thank you for the tips on how to improve the platforming experience too ^^

Thank you for your feedback! Coyote time is definitely a feature I want to implement in the future and I am aware that the level difficulty is a little high :0. I'm glad you enjoyed!

Hai thanks for letting me know! I am aware of this issue but can't fix or make any uploads until the game jam voting period ends... for now, please use the web version :3

Thank you! Coyote time is absolutely a feature I wanted to try implementing - alas, game jam time constraints! Next time. I'm glad you liked it :D

Ooh that's amazing to hear! I hope you enjoy it - one of my favourite puzzle horror indie games hehe

Love the theme on this one! Controls were a little hard to figure out at first so a tutorial or quick help page would've been useful, but once the trial and error was finished this was so fun to play! I love the tomato sprite. The animation style also reminds me of the House game :D

Adorable concept all around, I loved collecting all the fruit! I was a little lost on where to go but wandering uncovered a lot of different fruit which was super fun. Maybe an arrow, or minimap with general area to go towards would help? Otherwise great!

Great game! Love the scoring and how there's a mysterious undertone of eating "mystery meat"... it creates a lot of room to expand on the spookiness, and variety of "meat"!

Cute game!! Curse the other toads for stealing all the flies, I'm glad I didn't choose that buff as they would have just eaten them all >_<. There is a slight delay when actually jumping so I struggled with the movement - but overall very fun!
