Awesome surprises, and incentives to keep playing. Animations on the main character fish is top notch.

Crazy concept, but a very fun and unique game. The sprite animations are great,

Very smooth animation controller on the shark.

Thanks! The chill part is just to lure you in.  We have plans for a VR version soon that'll have a few surprises. It's tough to get everything finished in a week - just enough time for the main mechanics and the important models . The feedback from this game jam has been great!

I am glad you enjoyed it! The score is actually a calculation that gets a quantity, rarity, and distance from camera value. I think we will definitely add the discover score in later though. Good idea!

Polished character controls - very smooth movement and unique enemy attacks.

I understand the isometric shooter concept that you came up with, but it can't really come across as cohesive due to the massive amount of outsourced assets. I believe that if you simplified the game down to one type of enemy but made them all yourself, it would be unique and more of your own game. This is just my stance on the issue.

Launching the fish into the boats was fun. The outlined visuals were good as well.

Funnily enough, our teams first idea for the game jam was to flip the roles of fishing as well!

You did a good job with the positive feedback loops, such as the water particles splashing up when you go into the water and the bounce of the UI when you hit a button in the quick time event. I think it has a lot of potential though!

You did a good job conveying the claustrophobic feel of the sub through the environment. At first I was confused of the water level mechanic where I couldn't tell it was rising. Maybe the shader could be darker so it could be more visible? I really enjoyed the idea of controlling the flow of water through the valves though. Very creative concept!

This an interesting game concept. However, I accidentally clipped out of the level when  dashing near a wall. The camera perspective on the fish is strange as well with the controls. If you had a screenshot of the game, you couldn't really tell you were a fish.

But overall it has possibilities to be a good game, especially with the speed running aspect.

Addictive gameplay and complex mechanics. I liked that to make the fish shoot urchins they have to receive blood from the fish heads or how you can make the whole monstrosities move towards the enemy with the tails.

It's a fish Tamagotchi! The hand drawn art and mini-games are relaxing and quite a throwback to a classic toy.

The hand drawn artwork gives a peaceful vibe to what would otherwise be a sad topic - a dead whale sinking to the ocean floor. Maybe the point is that it's not really sad at all, because as we learn at the end, whale-falls support amazing eco-systems.

I felt as if the fish moved too fast in the air. At times, I would struggle to get to some of the required spots, especially when you fell off one of the tables.

Very impressed! Gameplay was simple and fun, excited to maybe see more content for this game in the future? Good job!

The graphics and gameplay are amazing. I love the single player  bot opponent and the fast pace gameplay.

An Ordinary Fishing Trip is very unique with its graphics and story. The PS2 type art style was one of the parts I liked most, the twist about giving to "Omar" was also a unique twist to the standard trope of calm and fun fishing.

You did a good job writing out the phishing prompts. I really enjoy the investigation aspect. Overall, you did a good job!

You did a good job with the level design in this game. Especially with the limited time given for the jam. Very enjoyable!

This game is very well polished! You did a good job with the game feel. The art and the music work perfectly together.  It was somewhat difficult at first though, it took a second to learn.

I think you did a good job with the fish weapons. However, there were some bugs with the pufferfish. The art also made the level confusing at times.

Liked the art style, only complaint is that there wasn't more. Good job!

This was a very fun game. Very good art style as well. However, the enemy fish lurching to attack often became annoying to me. Maybe I'm just bad at the game though...

But overall, you did a good job!

Learning curve, but very fun! I liked the randomness of the cards dealt, though I do wish there was a way to maybe get more energy. Though, maybe I just didn't play for long enough. The music was very nice, sometimes I felt as though it didn't quite fit. Overall though, I would definitely play your game again outside of this fish fest :)

Great pinball game and art style. The animations for the "bumpers" are creative.

I love the simplistic visuals in this game! I enjoyed it, however I struggled to control the direction of the dash at times.

This is a very enjoyable game. You did a good job with the track that the fish train is on, it reminded me of Mario Kart's rainbow road. The trailing effect as the fish train moved lanes was nicely done as well.

I enjoyed the visuals of the game as well as the player feedback. There was some UI issues however. It would also benefit from adding a purpose to the game, like a timer or quota for the fruit.

Very well made game, only problem is minor bug I had within the endless mode. Clicking the home button in the top left led to a screen without options. Otherwise a fun game.

This is a great turned based game. However, it would have benefitted from some sort of feedback for when your fish are getting attacked. Possibly some sort of animation would have worked.

Physics work well with gameplay. Great models!

This game feels fun to play! I liked how you included a cutscene in the beginning. You did a good job with the music as well. It all works together to give that retro vibe throughout.

You have a good foundation for gameplay here. In the future, I would consider adding more treatment and sicknesses for the fish.

Another thing, your loop needs some sort of "limiting factor," such as a timer for each patient. And possibly some sort of end goal as well.

Overall, good job!

Something is fishy about this rhythm game...

Good sound design as well. Wish there was more.

You did a good job with the gameplay here. It was fun being in race against time to stun and eat the shrimp. Another thing: I think the jellyfish are very well made.

This is the most unique game I have seen in this jam so far! The only thing I would have changed was to give more of a heads up before the sword fish is attacking the player.
