Really wanted to have an online leaderboard... but based on some Unity updates it doesn't look like I can get it done in time.

The art and Animations are top notch! I had a lot of fun with this one, just wish there was a little more complexity. Excellent work!
I loved the concept of the game where you have to save fish from hooks! I think it would make a great mobile game if you add one or two more mechanics to make the game even more interesting :) But the initial idea is already very cool!
Really good game! It has a perfect blend and everything comes together.
Glad you like it, thanks for playing!
Really awesome game! Love the art and sounds, and getting the boats to crash into each other and freeing the fish from the hooks! I wish there was an indicator for when the dash is available again since it's hard to time when it comes back. This is really fun and polished! :D
A dash indicator was probably the most requested feature, and I had it coded, I just ran out of time before I could make art for it. So even I wanted it in place. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!!!
Really excellent aesthetic with lots of good punchiness to the game feel. I love the little animation of the boats blowing up! I agree that a leaderboard would encourage more replay. I would also suggest making the time period a little longer and possibly adding a few mechanics to encourage destroying boats quickly, such as losing points when fish are hooked. Overall, really great work!
I have gotten tons of feedback about the time limit. Originally releasing fish and blowing up boats was going to add to your timer, but I couldn't get it balanced in time. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
Launching the fish into the boats was fun. The outlined visuals were good as well.
Funnily enough, our teams first idea for the game jam was to flip the roles of fishing as well!
I was trying to figure out something that wasn't being done in every other game, so glad it landed. Thanks for playing!
Cute visuals, great music, overall polished entry ! Good job !
Thanks! Glad you thought so.
Adorable graphics and perfect audio for the tone. Big props for making both a cozy/practice mode and a timed score attack mode. Knocking the boats together is satisfying and it feels great to un-hook (ey, there it is) your fish friends and turn it around on the fishermen. My only complaint is that I wish I could have also weaponized the turtles. :)
I really should have used the turtles better. I wanted to have something that you couldn't interact wtih, but they ended up so cute. They really should have been a super bomb or something.
I love the theme of fish fighting back! Great game!
If this ever gets a box release, I am using this as an official review! Thanks for playing.
Fishies are cute! Love the music choice too.
Glad you liked the fishies! Thanks for playing.
The art is very cute ! And the game is chill and fun. Good job !
Thanks for playing!
This is AWESOME! I absolutely love the art (the ships coming over the horizon was an especially clean feature) and sound effects when you get a hit off. Extremely satisfying to knock a fish off the line with the dash, though it seems like the optimal way to play is to drag one boat into another which has a fish hooked to score 25+25+10 points. If you work on the game after the jam, I think the dash mechanic to get the other fish off the hooks should be the main gameplay feature--it's so fun! Nicely done!
Thanks for all the feedback! If I work on it more, there is a TON I would fix and modify. Glad you enjoyed it!
At first I thought the goal was to put the fish onto the hooks, so I dragged the hooks in front of the fish. But upon further reflection and a second attempt, I figured it out. Save the fishies! ♥
Same xD
very cool concept, i really like it! the art is very nice and fits well too :))
Great game. I loved being able to crash a ship into another ship, that was very fun.
However, I occasionally noticed these white vertical lines for a split second in the waters when moving.
I was wondering for the background did you copy-paste a bunch of those images? I had a similar issue in another game. I fixed it by changing the draw mode in the sprite renderer of the background image and then increasing the size. Sorry if I'm wrong or overstepping my bounds about this.
Still. great game and keep up the good work!
It is actually a tileset, and that seems to pop in in some different resolutions. Not really sure what was going on, but I definitely want to look into it. Thanks for the heads up, and thanks for playing!
It's kind of hard to find a target when you don't have any fish laying around, but when you do it is really satisfying to send bloat flying!
The targeting is pretty rudimentary, if I had more time, I definitely would have refined it quite a bit. Thanks for playing!
Nice art, simple gameplay but still pretty fun. I like the idea
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it.
Nice game, very cool idea. Finally the fishes get their revenge :p
Really good, super cute, fully playable. I didn't care for the music (I hate whistling), but must grudgingly admit that it's a good fit for the vibe. I wish there was some feedback to let you know when the charge timer has refreshed (or more obvious feedback, if it's there and I missed it).
I programmed a UI charge timer, but couldn't get the art done in time for submission, so we definitely agree. I almost switched it to unlimited dashing, but that messed up things as well, and here we are. Thanks for playing!
