Such a good game, Sometime hard when you dont have move card x)... anyways good job !!
Had trouble to find the end of turn button because the colour is very similar to the background. :D Besides that, this is a real great game, normally I am not that much into deckbuilders, but you had me here. I didn't manage to win the game, but I had lots of fun. It would've been great, if you could undo your cards during your turn, so you don't die because of misclicks (didn't happen to me, no no). Also the playfield got really messy and hard to read from time to time with all those lines and damage numbers. Great job altogether.
It's a really interesting and fun game. It got frustrating sometimes when you would get unlucky and be in a bad spot where it gives you no move cards and little to no block cards, but that's kind of the consequence of random mechanics. But I liked it! I could totally see myself coming back for more.
Yeah in retrospect it would be cool to have more cards that do 2 of the 3 main actions (block, move, attack) rather than just one. Since in the game as it is if you don't have mobility you're gonna die fast.
10/10 game i love the inclusion of real fish and the mechanics are very fun i will be coming back to play more in the future :) this game is like solitaire to me
Very unique game, I think making the board smaller and making it a little more fast paced would be beneficial. Mechanics were cool.
Yeah I totally agree about the smaller board.
This is a unique game, I got so much fun from it, I think this is the game I played the most on this jam until now. congratulations, including more sounds and adding nice graphics this will be terrific!
It would be nice if I could:
- choose which cards to keep from one turn to another
- earn points from one level to another or by defeating some special and optional enemies that could be stronger so that is worthy to take the risk.
- win some additional Hp somehow
Such a fun game with some great mechanics! I would love if there was a way to remove cards from your deck but I completely understand given the 7 day time limit. One of the best games in the whole jam! It would be amazing to see it expanded into a full game with art for each card.
Learning curve, but very fun! I liked the randomness of the cards dealt, though I do wish there was a way to maybe get more energy. Though, maybe I just didn't play for long enough. The music was very nice, sometimes I felt as though it didn't quite fit. Overall though, I would definitely play your game again outside of this fish fest :)
Thanks for playing!
didn't understand at the start but this is an amazing game. it bugged out at level 4 but was super creative and fun
Shoot sorry about that, there's an intermittent crash that I didn't notice until after the deadline. I think it's fixed on my local build but I can't upload it till the judging is over.
Look forward to it :)
Wow, this is pretty incredible! I made it to level 4 and can see myself putting an hour or two into a full playthrough. The gameplay seems like it could get really deep with all the new cards I saw. And the visual design and auditory feedback makes it feel really good to play. Just for a couple of suggestions, I would love to see some cards that can give you more energy, or the ability to remove cards from the deck. But overall, fantastic work!
There is one card that lets you get more energy. Card removal would be cool but was out of scope for the jam (design-wise, not programming-wise). Thanks for the kind words!
Fun, fast tactical roguelike. Took me a while to figure out where the "end button" was (it's the blue arrow thing on the right of the grid) because the colors blend in. Other than that, no issues. Good work for such a short time!
Thanks for checking it out!
