Thanks!

Thanks man! The balancing for this was super wack, haha. I feel as if I could've made the enemy cards vanish alot faster but they're certainly avoidable if played against properly. Thank you for playing!

The card types were sorta lazy, I must admit. But I feel as if the game was relatively fair and simple to understand and that was my main goal, thanks for playing!

Oh yeah totally, here you go

Thanks man! Appreciate it.

Thanks! Balancing was a major issue during development, I wanted to keep the game fun, fair, yet challenging.  Guess I never really managed to get to that point. Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Cute point and click adventure, I did find myself lost at what to do at some points due to a lack of instructions. I did also find a couple of minor bugs, but other than that it was pretty fun. Great work!

If the enemy cards didn't track the player then the game would be FAR too easy. Also the card pool is entirely tied to your health, losing the corresponding heart also makes you unable to receive that random card. Thanks for playing man!

I actually played your game and really saw that, haha. Thanks for playing anyways man!

Enemies were planned to have different abilities but due to my spaghetti code I couldn't get it working in time. Also the card types are incredibly different with the diamond piercing, club being larger, heart healing and spade being a regular bullet. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! The combat was made to simulate the difficulty in arcade games, although it can be pretty harsh at times.

Took me a while to figure out the controls but it was pretty fun, although you could just run past most obstacles it was pretty fun. Great job!

Pretty cool clicker game with some nice visuals, gets rather repetitive though that is sort of unavoidable due to this being a two day jam. Great work!

Really short but pretty funny, good job.

Really like how the game looks and feels to play, (Although the store was a little cramped at times and made me pick something up that I didn't want to) but it does get a little repetitive when you accidentally mess up and get a price wrong. Other than that, great work, keep it up.

Loved the artstyle but it honestly just felt like I was aimlessly wandering around searching through random objects until I lucked out with almost no stealth at all. Also the character is painfully slow. Great work though!

Game looks great, plays great and has alot of replayability. Great work! (I also got my workout in by playing it, flop in peace, poor arm)

This is probably my current favourite game from this jam. The animations are incredibly well put together, the game is fun and has alot of replayability and it looks amazing aswell, all in 2 days. Great work.

The cards could've been implemented alot better, with them being introduced a little better. Looks great to play and the controls are pretty nice. Abilities are great, although I don't see how they really fit the theme "One Ability", other than them only being unlocked one at a time(?). Great work though!

This game both sounds and looks spectacular and the concepts for each card are incredibly unique and make sense. However, the controls in many of the sections just aren't it. And as much as I want to love this submission, it's really hard for me to due to the difficulty in the controls. With all that being said, this game, despite its controls, is really well made and feels polished. Great work!

This game follows the theme and special object perfectly and has probably been the greatest use of those thus far. However, the camera pans to the wizard far too slowly and there's no way to view exactly where you're gonna land, or even save yourself from falling due to the camera not even picking up on your death. Those things aside, this game is great. Great work!

Love how the game looks and feels to play, although it can be very buggy, I do see the vision behind it all, fun game, cool artstyle, great work.

The combat was the main focus of the game but also keeping the game simple was a major part of this project aswell, the card functions are straight forward and created in a way that, if used correctly, can seriously benefit the player. The diamond's piercing at max health can be used to chain damage if used properly, although I do see how it wouldn't really have a chance to really "shine". Enemies were planned to have the player's abilities too, however, due to me rushing through development I couldn't get them working with my spaghetti code... Thanks for playing!

Thanks! Everything was drawn and programmed by myself, other than the thumbnail... was NOT having a good time with that. The gameplay is hard in order to mimic the feel of classic arcade games and their rapidly increasing difficulty as time goes on. Thanks for playing!

Pretty enjoyable game, great concept and execution, great work.

I actually liked this game quite a bit, really cute and fun to think of all the words certain professions bring to mind. Great work!

The game is alright. Alot of the features such as the sword broke rather frequently, the animation just wouldn't play. Crafting menu occasionally got stuck on the screen and the gameplay wasn't the most captivating thing ever. Overall it's pretty good. Good job.

Thank you for the review and your time!

I literally just didn't have enough time to test everything in one go. I placed my player at the part I was testing and went from there. Also had someone suffer for me to fix a few parts of the game.

The jump being low is due to the exceptional speed the player can reach. If you hold down space near a wall without making any other inputs you can wall jump. Getting stuck in the wall is actually a serious issue though as I didn't have time to patch that out. If you can avoid the enemy that comes every 30 - 50 seconds by hiding you shouldn't encounter the issue as often.  A new version will be uploaded to itch later this week fixing the majority of the bugs in this version. If you had the slightest amount of fun here I highly recommend keeping an eye out for the patched version. Thank you for your comment and your time.

Thank you GhastlyGibusGabe

Thanks for the comment chezard! As this way made for a game jam the graphics were a bit rushed and I'll be sure to read up on 2d controls! Thanks for playing!

Sorry about the sprites! As this is my first game the movement wasn't too great either, I'll be sure to read up on better ways of making 2D movement. Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Sorry about that, I'm relatively new to unity so 2D movement is still rather difficult for me. Thanks for playing!

Decent game, had a bit of fun with it. Great Work!

Thanks Man!

Probably one of my favourite games this jam, the gameplay is fun, the art is nice to look at, the controls are responsive and it's a spectacular game all round.
