I think I hit a bug, every time I played it just ends when I get a score of 2.
Design wise, it was a little hard to see your bullets and the ships against the ground. there was maybe a little too much noise on the screen. Maybe having the bullets glow slightly, and have some hit effect/glow on the ships to help display that you're hitting them would have helped also.
I guess your message might be 'cancel culture is out of control?' :)
I think in game though, I maybe didn't feel the theme coming through too strongly. There was a slight clash between this 80's look, and the current issue of cancel culture imo.
It was fun sorting out the tweets, although I did get stuck on what I'm guessing was a placeholder one with 'tweet tweet tweet'. Well done on getting this finished though!
I think with a little more time this could have been more fun to play. If there was a possibility to jump, or to maybe grab your opponent, and have some feeling of competition between players, it would have made the experience more engaging.
Also, design wise, I think having a little more breathing room on either side of the platform would help show that you can fall off, and have more of a sense of peril.
