It's still unclear how we could expand it but one of the earliest ideas did not have the rear view mirror at all! I actually built the code around having to manually look behind your shoulder in a first person view while driving the car. In the end we didn't do it that way but I really want to do it in the final version as I think it would add some tension to it all.

I still don't know how to stop the train and get out but I have to say the vibes of this game are immaculate.
I really liked the smiling lady. She was looking at me weird but as long as I was looking back at her I was fine I think?
The graphics are where the game shines, I love the shader used to simulate the texture deformation found in psx games. The metro and the lady are super well done!
Also special mention for the main menu, very original!
Ok I'll try again, this time maybe I won't get more than 20 tapes? Or I won't let the lady go too close to me and do her creepy laugh? Maybe that'll help with getting out of the train
I liked it! I think the short sentences make the rythm very good.
I think in future updates I would love to see different illustrations on the left page. But maybe also some reactions from the family?
The story was cute. I like that during my second playthrough I got the opportunity to eat the bread I found in the picnic basket
This game was nice to play ! The menu is really polished and you can feel the hollow knight inspiration all throughout the game. I really hope you continue working on it but I understand you plan to do so that's great !
I feel like the platform are a bit too large. And I would have loved to play with the arrow keys. Other than that you have a solid base, you just need time to finish it I think !
I love the presentation of the game it's super impressive. I really enjoy the audio and the visuals. They have a distinct vibe and everything looks very polished.
I have some issues with the gameplay though. I agree with what was said before. Combat doesn't feel fair. I think it is mostly due to the range on the weapon ? It feels like you can not reach anything, and the jump is a bit too floaty and low to jump over enemies consistently. That being said, it does not ruin the game.
It was a really enjoyable experience. The art is cute and the movement feels fluid. I like the last upgrade, it feels so empowering to get access to the entire map at the very end !
I wished the bosses were a bit harder though. They do not attack as much as I would have wanted. But it's not a big deal !
I'm really glad you found the game chill ! I really think the game is more enjoyable if you take it slow, I often get frustrated when I try to play it fast.
If I work more on the game after the jam, I really hope I can improve the art, yes !
