That's a beautiful game ! I would recommend some more SFX for the monster when he walks near the player to insist a bit more on the "horror" aspect and make the player stress a bit more when the monster is near. This would also help to predict the monster's arrival, which is, for now, pretty hard sometimes.
Great job !
That's a really nice game ! I really like the movement mechanic where you have to "climb" the platforms on their ledge. Though, I would have recommended a bit more feedbacks for this mechanic, or a little tutorial explaining this, because you obviously have to use it to get to the top, but it's a little hard to understand on your own when you play for the first time.
Great job :)
That's a really beautiful game that would have enjoyed a little more of render distance ^^'
The idea is great ! But personally, I did not manage to shoot the nightmares a single time, they are just too fast and too small...
The feeling in the movement is excellent, but I would recommend a little tilt in the plane to give a bit more feedback ^^
Great job ! :)
That's a really awesome game ! I had a lot of fun playing it ! :D
Though, I would have recommended you to force on the fact that some paths are actually in the platforms, like, not the paths that we think about at first, to insist a bit more on the theme.
I would also have appreciated a bit more of SFX, but we did not have a lot of time, so I understand that you did not focus on that :)
Great job :D
That's a really great game ! It's pretty hard to go for all the coins and chickens with the very limited amount of "real things vision", but that's a great idea !
I would have personally added the fact that the coins give back some of that vision ! That would push players to go for the coins even more :)
Nice job !
Hey everyone ! I'm only 3 ratings away from the 20 required ratings... I would really appreciate if you could try my game :)
It's a quite hard 2D platformer with a lot of backstory (for its length) and it's available here https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418415 Thank you a lot if you try it :D
The idea is really great, and the graphics are awesome as well !
Though, for the game to be really funny and addictive, the "pokemon style" battles would require more variety (I know it would have been really hard to do in just a week though ^^).
You could even let the player buy new skills with the harvested vegetables :D
Good job !
Hello ! That's such a cool game ! I had a lot of fun playing it ! I would love to see this idea further developed for a whole game :D
I would advise you to take a bit more time to explain the main mechanics and the combat mechanics though, I had some troubles to understand it at first, but I did understand it was perfect !
I also had some bugs with the enemies being invincible and not able to touch me anymore after I healed, but after reflection, I realize that they were probably fake enemies, so you might have to ignore this x)
Good job ! :)
Hello everyone !
I'm quite far from having my 20 ratings on my games ^^'
I finally have time to test other games so if you test my game or leave your game's link in this topic, I will gladly test it and leave as many feedbacks as I possibly can :)
Here is my game ^^ https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418415
I definitely did all of this within 7 days ! I used Tarodev's player controller to have more time to focus on the story and the obstacles though, so this helped me gain quite some time ! Yet it also led to some boring bugs, because I struggled to understand some parts of his script ^^'
The z flittering in the menu was desired (I think) ! That was to show that the computer had already started to take control of the game :D
The jail bug, though, was absolutely not desired and is pretty boring as it completely prevents the player from triggering the rest of the stage's mechanics...
Thank you a lot for your review ! I will probably consider polishing it more and creating more stages to eventually publish it on steam, I would love it ^^ you could definitely do the same :p
That's such an awesome game you made in just a week ! :D
In case you have time to test my game as well, here it is ^^ https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418415
