just copy over the Assembly-CSharp.dll from 3Dash_Data/Managed to wherever it is in the mac version

Amazing audio and visuals! Really cool idea, as well as execution. The ending got me. Good job!

Thank you for such detailed feedback!

Grabbing clones is kinda broken (so is the clones' AI) and we didn't have time to fix that.

As for the potions, we added them in but realized they didn't do anything when I played the game for longer than when testing when the submission period ended, sorry about that :P

About the camera, it's not possible to decouple it from the pixels due to technical limitations, at least not in week-long jam, but I'm sure we can come up with something after the voting period.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, grabbing clones is kinda buggy in its current state and we didn't have time to fix that

grabbing lets you grab clones and enemies :p

thanks! we will :)

thank you!

thank!~

Very good. Loved the art and controls

Thank you!

Really nice game. Controlling the character feels great, very polished. Good job!

Most fun I had with a game jam game so far, very well polished, good job!

Very fun(ny)! Love the AI

Really cool! Simple idea, good art, audio and gameplay. A little bit hard to control but I guess that's intended
My highscore was 254 :D

Cool concept. The camera is a bit difficult to control, but other than that I think the game is pretty good!

Really good! Enjoyed it a lot, the art, SFX and level design are great

Pretty cool game! I like the idea even though it seems obvious for this theme, the art is pretty good but I think the mixels (it's when pixel art has different pixel sizes) make it worse, and the ground tiles could have a bit more variety, also the music isn't looped correctly, shooting a gun and getting hit could've had a bit more feedback, like a simple camera shake. Other than that, it's pretty good, I really liked the audio and art

Thanks! Yeah, I agree, it turned out to be a bit too difficult for new players which isn't a good thing for a game jam game..

the controls were a bit janky but the idea is pretty original imo

thank you :D

thanks! i've tried JHOTO and i gotta say that it's pretty original too :)

thanks! :)

nice game! tho i agree with elimatable about the later levels becoming a bit boring and EatPancake about the music resetting every time you enter the next level

yeah, as a player i'd like there to be a bit more levels there, i'm just not that good at coming up with puzzles, sorry xd

nice game. especially liked the graphics, good job!

pretty cool, especially liked the graphics

nice game, really liked it :)

good game! the physics could've been made a bit better but overall i think it's pretty good

Sorry for taking that long to reply. What OS are you playing on?

It's supposed to start at that position again after a restart unless you've beaten the game and then updated to 0.2.0 and no, it's just so you don't fall into the void when you fall on the ropes section

The "yellow glowy thing" is a checkpoint (I don't know how to make it look obvious, I hope someone will have an idea) and you can exit with [Alt + F4] (at least this works on Windows, I don't remember the shortcut on Linux) but I can add an exit button, it's not hard anyway

I didn't change the shades of grass in 0.1.4 (edit: you probably mean the background grass I added?), already said I won't add music because I can't make music, that's why I added wind in the background, checkpoints just added in 0.1.5 and I'm not using any free/paid downloaded assets, I made everything myself. And also the framerate issue probably was random and got fixed with a new build and there's an official Linux build now :)

Alright, so I just published an update and noticed your edit, also to clarify, I didn't add clouds because I tried to draw them but they didn't turn out to look good :(

I agree with you, the box is hard to control but that's like one of the main aspects of the game, there are some tricks that you can use to control it better and yes, it is not that fun when you're in one section like 5/7 of the whole playtime and I actually wanted to add checkpoints before but for some reason forgot about it lol, I'll add a checkbox in the pause menu that will allow you to enable or disable checkpoints so you still can play in the "ultra-mega-hardcore" mode in 0.1.5

Edit: also I'll include Linux builds from 0.1.5 and you'll most likely lose the progress you made in Wine

Thanks for you feedback :D

I'll answer everything you mentioned here :P

  1. Yeah, I wanted to add some music but unfortunately, I can't make any music at all :(
  2. I don't understand what you're talking about, it looks fine to me?
  3. Ok, I can draw some more tiles to make the ground look a bit more interesting and I was thinking about clouds and yeah, probably will add that also
  4. Alright, I'll see what I can do about that
  5. I don't know where the blurriness comes from, probably some weird resolution or a Wine issue and yeah, there's supposed to be a text, probably also a resolution issue, I'll try to fix that
  6. No, you can't change the power of the jump, you can only control the direction

Thanks for your feedback again, I'm so happy someone noticed my game <3

Edit: yeah, I think you can but I'm also new to forums

Edit 2: actually I've opened the screenshot in full resolution and it's not blurry to me, it's probably because of bloom and I also noticed the resoluton of the screenshot is 1366x768 which is the same as my main screen resolution on which the text displayed fine so I guess it's a Wine issue

So.. yeah, I've recently made a new rage game called Bouxy (bouncy+box)

This is a 2D platformer with pixel art graphics where you play as a bouncy box and control it by shooting it at your mouse cursor (or finger on mobile)

Your goal is to get to the very top of the level

(It's pretty hard and I can't even get past the Pre-Ice section as of writing this xD)

Download here <3

I hope to get some feedback to further improve the game like bugs or unfairness/hardness issues

A trailer I made in a couple hours (haven't edited videos in like 3 years so yeah):
