I thought this was just another scripted, elaborate prank. But no, it does crash.

Rings and accessories alike are equipped on the last three slots, even the reddened slots (the colour is just used to indicate an empty slot, i think), you can just click on them, or an existing equipment and select an accessory.
Regarding the more grapple enemy idea, they added a slime that can do that in the patreon version, which will come to public eventually (as far as im aware of). So i guess yes?
So first of all, you can cycle the really difficult goals by changing goals in the class menu for 30 mana. Besides, being mindful of your squad's clothes durability also helps, since they can only equip when the clothes are broken.
Secondly, i'm not aware of what you mean by selling loot instantly, the gems are a more efficient way to carry money in dungeon since one gold stack caps at 1750 (to put in perspective a stack of five 500gold gems values up to 2500, allowing you to bring back 750 more gold than regular gold would have, and it gets better with more valuable gems). So i don't get the idea there. Taking back seemingly useless equipment also helps, since for each 4 item of the same thing, they become an infinite stack and stop appearing in the loot pool, same for cursed items (though, you do need uncurse them first).
One element in this game that stands out is that it incentivizes the player to use the camera more.
1. The using camera costs a negligible amount of battery, at least, compared to lights and doors.
2. The lack of reliable way to check whether the animatronics have left the door also encourages the player to check the cams. (Surely, you can kinda count up to a certain number of seconds for assurance against bonnie, but it'll probably be way riskier as the game gets more difficult in future updates)
Why does that matters? Well, we'll likely get to actually look at "stuff". As there's way less punishment to using the cams and more reasons to use the them (other than just checking on foxy or winding the music box). We'll be more welcomed to "check the environment", that's one of the points of these games, right? You look at "stuff". Some fan games (not just fnia ones) have really impressive environment that generally go unnoticed as cameras are relegated to only survival usages, which is a pity. This one is different at that (and hopefully will be).
I have previously praised the game for being goofy yet still have emotional parts where the game slow down, it becomes more evident as Serena (and MC) backstory and the dread in the opening of the game still hit hard even a year later as i picked up this game again recently.
While the goofiness is still there, the story telling has gone down a bit, it has to do with sone moments where the MC suddenly acts jerkish (in a way he never did in prior quests) and mainly with Celestia. As the way she was written just makes her extremely unlikable. Part where she got the MC into trouble while he had effort preventing the trouble, she further escalated the issue despite his efforts then left the guy to his own devices. And the MC was the one to do all the reconciling work. And that's just one of those moments where it genuinely felt like he was being used. (Just to clarify, I don't hate unlikable characters, i even enjoy to see them change for the better. But that character has to have effort to make up for their part, she just kinda did nothing here and the MC just forgave like nothing happened)
Fortunately, the lore drop in her storyline makes it intriguing, saving it from becoming unenjoyable. (Hopefully, she gets more chances to be good to bring more nuances to her character)
Other than that, continuing storylines are still fun, Atty's one was up to the others' quality too.
You've done a great job on this game. It's really fun and I enjoyed it, especially in the strategic department . I am indifferent about whether there is NSFW contents or not if the gameplay can be this dynamic. Thus, I'll definitely follow and support your future works. I'm sure a lot of people who enjoy this game will.
