You're already better than 99% of other game devs were at 14!

Amazing visuals and good sound.

I loved the whole feeling of the experience you captured.

As others have said the point of the game, or the method by which you stay awake, is unclear unfortunately.

Great job!

Cool idea! Loved Squiggly's art and animations. This would make a great indie game.

Definitely felt out of control haha.

I liked the personality and writing! The gameplay was a bit flat - so much clicking haha.

But I loved the feeling and theme of the game, very creative!

So quirky and original! Love the art style and the personality in the conversations. The platforming sections could be tighter but the concept was definitely there.

I liked the art! The "controls change mid game" idea isn't my favorite but it worked well with the horror aesthetic you went with. Good job!

Congrats on submitting a game at 14! Thats really awesome!

I'm not sure if there was more to the game than just hoping over enemies but it was too hard for me to get very far. The jump felt smooth though, especially the double jump.

Cool idea! I think the player just needs a little more info and variables in play to make more interesting decisions. Reminds me a lot of Reigns, you should check that game out if you haven't.

Great game! Very challenging but tower defense games should be imo.

Would love the ability to upgrade my movement speed in a future version.

Thanks so much!

Yea the awkwardness is baked into the concept a degree, but after the jam I think I’ll try giving the player a little more “control” and separate inputs that work  from the first person perspective. So you can switch inputs based on where you’re looking. Might hold the complexity but reduce the awkwardness.

thanks for playing!

I regret that music haha. Had a better tune I should have gone with that is less high pitched.

Thanks for playing!!

How easy/difficult was it? I would have loved to add way more complex levels but of course ran out of time.

The controls were supposed to induce the feeling of “out of control” with the awkwardness of the two perspective, but it sounds like they are probably too awkward in their current state. Thanks for the feedback!
