There is a monster which is out of control. It will eat both your allies and your enemies. You cannot control it, but you can guide it with well placed drops of food.

Must. Feed.

Good to see another person making a game with an appetite.

Developer

Thanks! Bon apple tea

Known Bugs:

  • Running out of food too quickly (It will refill but it  is too slow)
  • Game may toss errors when installing on Windows (thx Unity)
  • Squiggly may get stuck on walls if food is placed in inaccesible locations. (Food disappears after 20 seconds)

I may patch these issues after the jam. We'll see.   :-)

Thanks!

Great idea! Directing the monster by placing out stuff it wants is a pretty fun way to wreck som stuff

Developer(+1)

Hey Thanks! Inventing fun ways to wreck stuff is something I strive for!

Cool idea! Loved Squiggly's art and animations. This would make a great indie game.

Definitely felt out of control haha.

Developer

Hey thanks! That's very kind of you to say!

Pretty funny concept, at some point I just laid back and watch squiggly do its own thing since he(she?) wasn't too interested on all the food I drop. Camera was a bit fiddly to work with but overall the game was fun to try!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I literally do the same thing! I tried to make Squiggly prioritize the food but everything I tried just slowed the game down too much.

I think you pulled off the theme really well, Squiggly's animation and movement are fittingly erratic!

Developer(+1)

Heh heh! Thanks! I wish I could have balanced it a little better so it feels like the player has more of an impact, but there's only so much you can do in 48 hours.

Cool concept, and I love the looks of Squiggly! It's sometimes hard to control and Squiggly tends to get stuck, but it was still a fun experience. Nice music and homemade sound effects :D

Thanks for playing it! I really appreciate it!

Oddly satisfying.  I had trouble getting the creature to go where I wanted, but eventually got the hang of it.  Great choice of audio.  With all of the people running around, they were nearly impossible to protect at that speed.  But it was a cool concept and well presented.

Thanks so much!  I really appreciate it!

Very cool idea, balancing the warriors with civilians was pretty challenging!

Developer

Hey thanks for playing! Lol, it's still a little broken but oh well.
