You got the addicting gameplay loop from VS down, nice work.

Cool that you're doing your first jam! I can see the idea, and where you ran out of time. Everything you learned will help you out on the next one!

The game gets hard pretty fast and I felt like my movement momentum carried a little bit longer than expected when trying to move in short bursts, but it's a fun little platformer!

I liked the cat sprites and the open levels, but as mentioned by others, the camera position obscured parts of the level I tried to jump on.

I like the backstory and theme application! Although the gameplay is pretty basic I still played it for a good while.

Thanks for the kind words!

You are totally correct on the player feedback, we ran out of time and will patch in some additional feedback once the voting period has ended.

Thanks for the feedback and nice comments!

We bit off a bit more than we could chew, so we fell behind on UI and sound feedback in the end,

Thank you for your kind words! We had briefly talked about about some large creature, but we only had 5 days after our first idea turned out to be total garbage 😅
Your feedback about the controls and blowing up the ship wreck are greatly appreciated, and we will take it into account for the next patch that we're saving until the rating period is over.

Awesome video! Glad you loved it! You are right on the money with the interior vs exterior feel of the submarine.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Happy to hear you liked it. We are preparing a small update to address some of the feedback that felt the game was too slow, but as you said, the slowness is part of it 🙂

Thanks for the feedback, great to hear you loved it! We are preparing a small QoL patch that speeds up a couple of things folks like yourself gave feedback on such as text speed, and character and ship speeds.

I played this a lot longer than I thought I would. The implementation of the limitation is really well done.

Thanks for the feedback, we'll take a look at the grappling hook issue, it's not supposed to turn on you 😅

This is pretty clever, too bad there's only a couple of levels, but I really enjoyed them.

I don't see many third person games during game jams, it's pretty impressive that you got the character controller to feel good. The game does go from 0 to 100 very quick with the amount of enemies you encounter.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to figure out how the spell casting works. But the man kept telling me I missed.

Great use of the limitation, I had a lot of fun working through the puzzles.

The palette, art, concept and sounds are great, but the economy of souls is balanced in such a way that the game is very easy.

You guys went all in on the limitation. I can respect that :D

Hey, I was really enjoying placing animals and planting flora, but after zooming in and out a couple of times my camera got stuck looking at the sky :(

Love the look and feel of this one.

Did you try to use the environment to blow it up yet?

Thanks for the kind words! We will probably push a little update after the rating period with some QoL fixes.

Great little game, loved it!

The web creation is cool + nice art and polish, the controls can get a bit finicky.

Thanks for the heads-up about the web input in Godot 3.4! We weren't aware of the issue.

Thanks for your generous feedback! We love to hear these positive comments. The level design could definitely use a couple more passes :D

Thanks for the kind words! Getting crushed is a lot less common when playing with a controller, with mouse and keyboard the movement input comes in big bursts which makes small movements difficult :)

Simple but good. Really enjoyed it. Music is thumbs up.

I think it's mostly the speed and jump strength vs the size of the levels. I feel like every move propels me too much for how much space there is to move around in. It's probably something you get used to over time, but it felt like I was using the borders of the levels to compensate for how fast I moved around.

Love the sound/graphics, but had trouble playing because the star field and bullets look so much alike and the background movement updates smoothly but the ship movement stutters. The art design of the game is super super nice though.

Your game's pretty cool, it's too bad that most of it is happening off screen and you kinda resort to playing just on the mini map. I love the ship design and hit effects!

Nice shading and clear color palette.  Great solo project.

Hey, you're doing some clever design things with a cool palette and art, but the character controller does not feel great imo, which dampens the mood on this otherwise clever game.

Nice concept and great palette/art!

Nice idea for a puzzle game, got a bit confused in the beginning.

Pick the magnus they said, casting spells is fun they said. (Cast 2 spells in the whole game to play it through lol)

Love it! Had lots of fun replaying the challenging first couple of minutes.
