Nice game! I like the "take a break" mechanic.
You could make the enemies who have more health or are faster have different sprites/color to make them more noticeable.

I wish I could break out from blocking pose so I could break enemies.

Anyways, it's fun  game until enemies with more HP join in. I have to figure out how to slice faster than enemies before they slice me.

Other than my joke above, I love the inclusion of break time here. It's a decent way to recover HP.

Really neat game! I included it in my Palette Jam 2 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

A lot of fun! Fights could've used a tiny bit more oomph but that's a very minor detail

Thank you. You are right - more juice and more variation. Maybe in the post-jam version ;-)

I Played that game way longer than I thought I would. The gameplay is so simple yet so satisfying & addictive. The visuals are very minimalist but works very nicely.

Nothing else to say except great work :)

I had so much fun and it felt so good to play ! I felt really in control of everything, and it's so satisfiying to perfectly slice waves of ennemies, I couldn't stop playing ! The graphics and music are chef kiss. Really great job! (Also I am not very good at video game so the slow pace was absolutly perfect and challenging for me x))

Thanks a lot! I'm very happy you enjoyed my game.

Pretty fun to play! Has some simple mechanics but they work well together.

The game though tends to be very slow paced  and not have very much challenge which can get a little boring after a bit. One of the sound effects from the player hitting enemies is also a bit too loud compared to everything else.

Developer

I always struggle to find the right difficulty level. The first 4 or five levels could realy be a bit faster.

After one game jam game that was to hard for most players (Living Forest), I tend to make every new game too easy.

Simple but good. Really enjoyed it. Music is thumbs up.

I'm a sucker for rhythm games, and this one felt fun to play!

The graphics are nice and simple, I felt I was focusing on the bar more than the characters, but it was a nice surprise when you introduced the icons above the enemies.

Very nicely done!

Great job!

The aesthetic is really beautiful in its simplicity, the relaxing music feet perfectly with the proposal, and the wave progression are challenging and fair.
I really enjoyed playing it! Congrats

Hey, that would make a really good Rythm Game! I'm more of a fast paced person, but i liked the concept anyway.
