I have the same problem, please fix ;-;

Any chance of a Linux version?

Last year there was a bridge to IRC. Considering Discord isn’t really in the spirit of open source, wouldn’t it be nice to have something like that again this year?

A free and open source space exploration game, where you can explore a procedurally generated universe or wage war on rival factions by controlling your ships via a command line interface.

This is only the first alpha release, there’s still quite a bit of content to be added, but I need help with finding bugs and balancing the game! Playing this first release and helping to build the community would be greatly appreciated.

Can you upload a Linux version with libsoundio dynamically linked? The game won't run on my system because of this :(

Awesome :D

Glad you enjoyed it :D

You get more score the faster you go, so speed is essential if you're trying to beat your friend's high score on the leaderboard

Hm, you don't seem to have uploaded an executable for Open Platforms (eg Linux). Could you do that?

Haha, I can't believe I never thought about the bus turning backwards! Thanks for the feedback :D (btw, the trick to winning is to not play at the fastest speed; it only awards additional score, so you can just play at your comfort level if you just wanna win :D)

Awesome!

Hi! You seem to be missing the pack file (ends in .pck) for the Windows and Linux downloads, and without it the game won't run

Awesome! The UI is a bit inconsistent about where you can use a keyboard and where you have to use a mouse, but really, the gameplay is great! Would love to see this on a cabinet :D

Awesome game :D

I'd love to see more levels, planets, gameplay etc added later! Seems like a really cool proof-of-concept

No problem! Thanks for the quick response!

Linux version does not run, it isn't even a valid executable

Is the game even maintained anymore? I've gone completely unnoticed for nearly a month. It's a pretty big deal when you can't rebind keys and the controller support doesn't even work :/

The game is ignoring the controls set in unity options

Game is working great on Arch Linux, although I had to manually compile Love 10 since my package manager doesn't have it (only Love 11). Thanks again for supporting the Linux community!

Oh, cool! Thanks for supporting!

Still waiting on that Linux version ;-;

Hey so the game looks really cool, but unfortunately I'm having trouble with the controls. When using a controller, the camera just moves right forever. Additionally using a keyboard is difficult as I use a non-QWERTY keyboard layout. If you could read the keybinds I set in the unity config that opens before the game, that would fix the layout issue (and it should be an easy fix as well). Kudos for the Linux version!

Could you please export a Linux version?

Just to let you know, it appears that the attatched ZIP file is actually a TAR.GZ file with the ZIP extension, which prevents the itch app from extracting it. Also the archive has a `.` folder which doesn't extract properly either

Not for gaming lol, especially considering Apple is removing OpenGL support in future versions of Mac OS

Linux version when? Seems strange you made Mac support but not Linux lol

Why no Linux version :P

Can you please release a Linux version of this?

Is this game also open source or...?

Go for it, but be forewarned; I really meant it when I said my code wasn't optimized whatsoever. You'll be sure to find... well, let's just say it shouldn't be difficult to find the source of the lag :P

I'm not sure how to fix your lag issue, but I can upload a windowed mode executable to fix the fullscreen issues. I'd just program in an F11 shortcut but the game was only made for a jam, so if I were to continue updates for it I'd probably just do the whole thing from scratch to be honest. Thanks again for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! The game was developed & tested on Gentoo and I had no issues; one thing to note is that my code is... not exactly as optimized as it could be, and if you're playing with low CPU specs it might not run that well. If you could let me know what distro you're using and what your specs are, I'll do my best to help

Fullscreen is kinda broken on Linux. Also, there's a really annoying sound loop... Other than that , it's a great game! Please check out the issues with Linux though...

Also you have support for QWERTY and AZERTY keyboards, why not do DVORAK as well?

EDIT: Turns out that annoying music is not a bug but an easter egg :P won't say how it happened so I don't spoil it for others XD

Nice game! I can't figure out what I'm doing, but that's just me XD. Has lot's of potential! EDIT: I seem to have found some bugs, where you can have $50 and buy a bandage and you'll still have $20 left over.

Looks cool, but can't get it to work on Linux D: (Using Ubuntu 16.10)

Just get a black screen and an a-wooshing (Maybe this is part of the game, but it doesn't seem like it)
