Nice game. A bit too reliant on jump scares, though.

Hi, thanks for all the feedback and making the Video!
I'm planning to add a tournament mode with three to four tiers, and update the graphics and animations as well. Once I manage to finish the first tournament and rework the tutorial a little bit I'll update the game here on itch. Once I finish all of the tournaments I'll try to re-release it, maybe under a different name, I don't know yet.
I wanted to add a Batter mode, but because of the limited time of the jam I couldn't do it. I will try to work on it once I finish the Pitcher mode and release it as a free update.
I like your idea about teams as well, it could be something to add in the future.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll add a button to finish the tutorial today! I wanted the player to be able to choose who to play with, but due to lack of time I decided to focus just on the pitcher. The reason the batter was hitting the balls you threw at him even though he was expecting a different speed is because he predicted where you threw it. I implemented this so you can't be throwing the ball at the same place everytime, haha. I really liked your video!
Edit: Tutorial bug fixed!
Hello everyone, I created a game for the WeeklyGameJam and some feedback would be appreciated! it is a strategy 1v1 baseball game between a batter and a pitcher called Three Outs. In a Punch Out fashion as you go you will be facing harder and harder opponents!

Can you be the champion? ;]
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Hello AgentXman, I created a game for a WeeklyGameJam and I ended up liking it. If you could play it and give me some feedback to build upon I'd appreciate it! Game: https://crimsomking.itch.io/three-outs
Three Outs is a game between just a batter and pitcher. The pitcher must get 3 strikes and the batter must hit the ball twice to win a set! Win three sets and the game is yours! In a Punch-Out fashion you will face 6 different batters with increased difficult. Predict their swings and get the win!
Play the game here: https://crimsomking.itch.io/three-outs
This game was made in 5 days for the weekly game jam, but if people enjoy it I'm planning on updating the overall presentation and characters!
The only complain I can have is that this game has no audio, but even still, I feel like it's complaining that books have no audio. Nice work all around, I wish we could see more games like that, there is so much that can be done that pure written media can't convey and your game showed it. I also loved the little text details (the blur, the outlines, etc). Really nice work, man!
Nice game. Manged to escape the labyrinth, short but nice nonetheless. My only feedback would be to work on a better pathfinding algorithm for the enemies or try to mask the simplicity of it by the level design (this feedback is only if you want to build upon this game going forward, the game is really well done overall)
