Have you tried to actually run it? What error are you getting?

Perfect. Thanks so much for this. I can absolutely access Visustella's traits this way. Does your Monster capture work with your tactical battle?

Any idea how compatible this is with VisuStella's plugins? It seems some things that access actors aren't working. But I'm confused why that is. If a VisuStella plugin calls Actor[2] shouldn't that just call the third actor in the party no matter if it's an instance?

I think we'd really appreciate that!

Thanks for your feedback!  All of it was very valid. As for the cows one, I don't think that's true :/  In every playtest I've ever done you only have to touch the cows!

Thanks for playing my game.

Hey Drifty, thanks for taking time to play my game. The bugs and balancing problems you bring up are very valid. I'll make sure to fix those as soon as the competition ends.

Thanks for ideas and tweaks on how to make things better. I appreciate the work yall are doing to help us get better at gamedev, which is the goal here. Thanks!

Yep.  Thanks, just watched it.  Pretty sure he didn't like it, but that's OK.  It's not for everybody!

Awesome. Is there any way to see when my game was streamed?

Hey, I know the judges are going through rounds for each of the games.  Will a list of the games that made it to each round be posted so we can get a general idea of how we're doing?

Hey, thanks for playing my game and I really appreciate your feedback. As soon as the game jam is over and I have the ability to update, I will! Most of those bugs I was unaware of, and will be fixed asap!

The characters are randomly generated from a pool of sprites, which is why occasionally there's identical contestants. This was just a time constraint thing. I'll be adding more sprites after the gamejam, and once there's a fair number will add some code that will prevent the identical contestant bug!

Thanks once again for playing, I appreciate you taking the time to play the game and also leave some good feedback!

Thanks for your feedback!  We will continue to improve it.  Once we get some more minigames, we'll be able to expand it to include more contestants and more features.

I think the whole theme of this game jam works against this idea.  They're obviously looking for games that push the engine, and defy the stereotypes regarding the engine.

Thanks for the response! Makes sense

Is the game being sold on Steam, or put there as a free game?  If it's sold, does the developer get the revenue?

Hey, I was also in the gamejam.  I finally am getting around to playing some of these..Damn, this is really good!

Hey, there was some confusion on what the crossroads was. It was at the very end. Since the players were teleported onto the road, it was a crossroad as they could go either way, even though it was only a road.

Hey, I just want to say how cool it is that you have a "community copies" section.  I think that is so awesome and generous!

Thank you so much for the feedback.  A lot of good stuff in here!  I agree with pretty much everything you said if I decide to continue the story in a full game, as opposed to its current "short story" format!  Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback!

Hey Berry, I appreciate your feedback on my game, the Castle of Cardell.  Thanks for playing and thanks for taking time to give your thoughts.  I can learn from it for the future!

Thank you so much for the feedback!  I'll make sure to tackle those bugs after the jam (I'm assuming we aren't allowed to fix bugs during judging?).  I really appreciate you taking time to play my game and then leave me feedback.

Thank you so much for playing my game!  Feel free to post any feedback, this is my first gamejam and I'm here to compete, but also to learn!

Hey Fluffey,

I really appreciate your feedback.  Your video was super entertaining and funny and as a dev, I can't express the joy I felt when watching somebody play my game and enjoy it.  I'll definitely give you a like and a sub for that.  Your feedback made a lot of sense.  One of our requirements was getting all of the criteria for the jam within 30 minutes, so a lot of the feedback you had regarding time was constrained because of that.  That being said, your feedback was definitely true.  I knew that character development was a bit of a weak spot and something to work on if I decide to expand the game.

Thanks so much for playing, and know that what you're doing by reviewing these games is good work.
