thanks for your kind words. You are absolutely right about the feedback on the rhythm section, struggled to get that feeling right.

the mighty eevee played my game? So cool!

Yeah playing as an actual sentient pile of coats might be too leftfield even for me!

Fun fact: The terms pile of coats just came to me out of nowhere but after I finished I googled it and realised that I had subconsciously picked it up from an episode of Friends.

First off, the presentation is very cool. It's very 90s cartoon-ish with the shaky lines and the bold colours. Also, the DDR style arrows but with no beatmatching is kinda genius, felt like codebreaking somehow. A lot to like here!

Cool little world you've built here. I love the artstyle,

I don't have much experience with 'mechs' and 'loadouts' but your UI was pretty intuitive, even for me.

If I had to give feedback for where it could be improved, I'd say the character movement feels a bit slidy. Also I'd love to see 8 directional character animations, that would really ground the characters in the level.

I don't know if you have plans to continue on this project but I can definitely see some scope for expansion here!

PS - Kairo's metal claws? Ouch.

Cute, I want to live there! Kudos to you, 101 fish puns?! That's a month's work by itself.

The game is obviously in a skeletal state but the atmosphere is really nice and the controls are intuitive, sound feedback is good for casting the line.

I also had a good time hopping round the coast and getting out of bounds. Tried to cast into the skull cove but no luck. I was hoping to catch some kind of devilfish, i suppose.

Great work, especially for a first time

Like others, I had a bit of a learning curve to content with here, but I got it eventually.

The animations look great, really clean. I love the music too.

The vibe kind of reminds me of that old Encarta trivia maze game on the PC. That is to say, pretty creepy.

Nice work as always!

thanks, I really appreciate you laying it out so clearly

oh wow thank you! Your feedback is so appreciated. I did spend a bit more time on shaders this time to create that effect and learned a lot.

As for Midnight Delivery, yes it is currently in active development. Was paused for a bit because of a roadblock but now I’m back on it. I appreciate your interest! I post occasionally about progress on my bluesky (link on my profile)

thanks so much, you’re too kind.

we both made games with elements of beatmatching, I think you did a really good job so thanks for the inspiration to make that aspect better next time!

thanks for playing and rating :)

Everything about this is fantastic. I have no notes. More correspondence please.

605m in, probably my best. I don't think I'm ever gonna get to her place!

Cute art, love the phone UI. Jump reset feels a little unforgiving. Might be one of those times where you give the player a bit of grace even if they weren't technically grounded. Like coyote time sorta thing.

Nice work!

if you don’t mind answering a question: with which character is the consent a concern? Possibly both… I was wondering this myself. He’s been intruded on, she’s drunk… part of the reason I included the epilogue was to clarify that there are no regrets on either side. Would be good to get your take on it!

thanks! Yes I was a bit unsure what to call it in the content warning, but thanks for giving it a name, I will add that.

A very sensual story set in an intriguing fantasy world.
Ends a little abruptly and there was at least one inconsistency I spotted (they were outside but there's a bed? Maybe it's my mistake.)
If you use Twine again, consider adding a little branching to keep the reader involved, even if it's just the illusion of choice.
Thanks for sharing this wintery tale!

Yes, massively - in fact, it started as a straight parody of The Raven and grew from there.

so happy you felt that way. You “got it”. :)

thank you so much! Luckily the systems were fairly simple so I spent most of the ten days drawing smut. ;)

Classic block-pusher (my kinda game!) The theme is fun, the art is kinda messy in a Pizza Tower kind of way but it has some good humour to it (particularly in the cutscene animations) Suggestion: In games like this, the rewind button is a must. I dropped into a hole in front of the door and I have to do the whole thing again? Ouch.  Also, grid based movement works better for a game like this (i reckon) Anyway, you did great with this one :)

Man, I suck at snake!

Not sure if it's my browser but the input is a bit laggy at first, gets better once yo speed up.

Other than that, it's a fun inflatable kinda world! Good use of colours and fonts to create a vibe.

What an original idea :) I love the isometric layout and enjoyed the writing too.  It was hard to get some private time, maybe I am missing some kind of distraction technique... Anyway, well done!

Hey nice job! I got three levels in before it got too hard for me. The hitboxes are probably a bit big (you get caught by robots and stuck on corners to easily). I really like the little cutscenes though, and the tiny animations. For your next one you should consider showing some more detailed full-screen cinematic pieces during these, give a bit more personality.

Hey, thanks! You are absolutely right - there's a golden opportunity for a panel there and I will add it in a future update

Hey there, you did a great job, especially in three days. Feels good to watch the numbers go up! It's a fairly complicated system for a beginner. I thought they would be forever 'not interested', but eventually - there they go!

Any chance you can upload a web build? Many people are wary of dowloading zipped files in game jams, so you'll get more plays and ratings that way.

It's a classic style of game, this bubble-bursting thing, and I happily played a couple of rounds of it. There's an issue where multiple colors are cleared at once (which was actually the only way I managed to complete it lol). I feel like the gems should be locked to a grid, make it feel a bit tighter. Also (as Ameripon said) in the late game, just detect the gems left and give me the colours I need, I'm not here for a challenge :P
The comic illustrations were really nice and full of character. Perhaps it would have been worth spending some time on creating assets for the gameplay/UI elements in the same style to make the whole thing feel more cohesive.
A solid start to a casual game, great work!

Annoying! I'm sorry. Sometimes the procedural generation hits a snag and will never complete. It needs fixing. Try hitting R to regenerate the map if you get stuck on the 'Loading' circle animation.

(edit, i have maded some fixes now so you might have better luck now if you download the latest version)
