The art is nice. The re-spawn mechanic is pretty unique, but it doesn't really make it more fun than a standard platformer. It just kind of makes it slightly more tedious to complete a level( eg. on level 2 moving platforms part, you have to just wait for the platforms to arrive, but you cant just wait, you have to drop totem and wait or you restart the level. This isn't fun. I don't feel like I am doing something skillful or overcoming a challenge, I just have to push a button over and over again or else I restart the level.)

I went for farmer john and both options led to nothing. You probably had bigger plans for his story-line and didn't have time but it was really frustrating that you can't skip the dialogue. As basically the first couple minutes of my playtime was just time wasted.
It could use a skip text button or a fast-forward button so you don't have to sit through the same dialogue twice. Other than that, the music and the art were nice. Of course this style of game is best when there are multiple ending so its was very disappointing that so many led to "to be continued" instead of a proper ending.
I loved the concept of having to run around and try to get back into your mech as fast as possible.
It was fun, but the last boss felt kind of unfair. The big orange aoe slam felt like it hit me even though I thought that I dashed out of range and sometimes a missle went off when it didn't look like I was in an area where it had dropped.
I ran past the vine traps and entered the boss arena before I got the tongue power the first time, died and then the flies wouldn't spawn anymore. I had to relaunch the game to fix. Perhaps the player should be locked out from going in there before he has the power.
Other than that it was a nice simple game and the 3d models were charming.
