Boss from first second, now thats a challenge! Satisfying gameplay, but would probably prefer to play it against smaller enemies first :)

Great style and really fun mech grameplay. Very difficult.

what engine did yall make this in?

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Lol yes, more difficult than intended. We have a custom C++ engine using SDL.

yeah this game was incredibly difficulty, git gud

Love the style, it's got that early to mid 2000's RTS energy. I wasn't able to get past the second fight, the big green laser that kills the mech instantly was too hard to avoid. Cool game!

Developer (1 edit)

we left balance to the very end so there is definitely some bullshit. its also hard to know if a game is too hard when you designed it!

Really love the graphics! Game was bit too hard for me unfortunately. Nice work tho!

Developer

thanks for playing! it seems like the game is a lot harder than we intended haha

thank you for playing!

I'm really impressed by the artwork. This game is tough as nails though, I couldn't get past the first boss. I think the UI could have taken up less screen space. Otherwise, great work.

I loved the concept of having to run around and try to get back into your mech as fast as possible.

It was fun, but the last boss felt kind of unfair. The big orange aoe slam felt like it hit me even though I thought that I dashed out of range and sometimes a missle went off when it didn't look like I was in an area where it had dropped.

This was realy fun but maybe a little too challenging.

I've beaten it, shame there wasnt a win screen or something. Was very very fun, last boss was kinda to the tanky side, but i pushed through with perseverance and POWER, and made it. This is the first ever dva-type game

Developer

dude! god of hands is fantastic! and yeah there's a lot of polish to add. I'm hoping we might polish it up and release a 'final cut'

Absolutely love the idea of having to exit your mech in the fight. Would have been cool to have upside to being outside, like maybe running faster for example, kinda like in the airplane levels in cuphead. Even if the controls felt good, it was hard to get away from the boss. Loved the music and visuals. Thanks for the game!

Great use of Power and having "two" playable characters was a great concept.

I found the first level quite challenging actually and would suggest an easier level to get use to the game features.
