really interesting concept and story! Maybe consider changing the wording on the inventory when you're near madeline. contextually it implies that you have to use the photo on her to progress.

incredible pivot from grafitti FPS parkour game to what deadlocked is now - solid game you should both be really proud :)

thank you!

hey I noticed you uploaded our game onto your YT channel. Please add a link to the itch page!

This game is pretty tense and I really enjoyed the visuals! You all did a fantastic job

Loved this! The mole is so dramatic its perfect

Its like an uncanny valley Little Big Planet and I love it!

The gameplay is really intuitive and engaging, interesting art direction as well! (I am not very good at this game)

This is incredible feedback, Thank you!

Thanks!

The fog is pretty impressive!  Please make a  sequel, I must experience the origin story of  Dick Richardson.

Really like the art direction of this one!

This feels great to play and I love the art direction and music! its really incredible how much you got done in such a limited timeframe!

Video provided only shows first mini-game due to an error uploading, see the itch page for video of full game

Thank you for playing! I appreciate the feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

Hi, I tried to run this in browser but itch threw an error : The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
WebGL2 - Check web browser configuration and hardware support.

This might be an issue just on my end and maybe other players are not experiencing the same! - I'm using google chrome and MAC OS.  - If you can get this to run in the future please let me know and I'd be happy to play and give feedback

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to play and give feedback! I do have a build in progress with the scissors as the cursor and I agree that would add a layer of visual feedback to guide the player even further.

To answer your question about the trading mechanic : I am toying with the idea of the trades being more beneficial to hold off for as long as possible, I.E the first trade being 5 stars for 1 pair of scissors, but a future trade being  something like 12 stars for 3 pairs of scissors - encouraging players to take increased risk for a better reward in the future. Of course, the current build leaves this completely ambiguous to players, so it's only through multiple plays that the risk / reward would become obvious. I think this element would definitely require more refinement and playtesting to determine if its right for the game, but I think it adds something special that helps it stand out from other games within the genre. :)

Thanks again you for your feedback I really appreciate it! - Lauren

thanks for playing! Awesome that you liked it

Thank you for playing, I appreciate the feedback. Do you think it Would be better to have the option of showing or hiding the upgrades while still being able to read the newsletter and chop the trees?

Thanks for letting me know! the 10 million goal is in the how to play section at the start of the game, game over happens if you let your reputation fall to zero

Hello ! My name is Lauren and my first ever project "DaggerToss"  has been completed.
It's a point and click, 2D side scroller set in a Medieval castle where you play as a simple Jester throwing daggers to defeat an evil king.

It's got an original soundtrack ,  entertaining boss fights and interactive environments.

There's a level select on the title screen so you can pick and choose which levels you'd like to play, (Level 3,6,8 are boss fights)

I would love if other indie devs could play and rate my game and in return I will leave feedback on your projects (Must be play in browser).

Thanks for checking it out :)

thank you! I’m so pleased that you enjoyed the game :) I agree that the Jump mechanic could use some work, I think it’s the trickiest thing I’ve had to code for so far 😂

thank you for playing! If you have a minute I would love if you could leave a rating :)

thank you :)

Left you a rating! I would love if you could do the same for me :)

Hi! I've played your game and can offer a little feedback :
The art style is beautiful! I love the concept as well :)

The controls are a little frustrating, It does feel like you're a flower being blown around but the movement is a touch too slow and it's tricky to determine your next direction when the evil orbs come into play.

It would be interesting to have a moving background, or make the background much larger and have the camera follow the flower as it moves around, you could even add other sources of wind  that the player can avoid or even aim for to evade the evil orbs.

I hope that this was helpful!
