Good job! The page looks really great and the explanation makes the game make a lot more sense.

I didn't manage to finish the game (I'm really bad at these detective games) but from what I saw, this is a really well done murder mystery game. Only problem was I don't think it had a strong link to the theme but that might be explained in the ending. Incredible for only a weekend of work!

Thanks I'll try that when I next need to use particles

This game is absolutely unhinged and I love it.

How did you do the particle effects?

It's a shame yours wasn't done in 3 hours because I'd say this is the best game in the jam by far. The music, visuals and gameplay really came together and it was such an original idea especially considering the theme was so difficult. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars for everything was because I think it was slightly too hard but I think that might just be down to my lack of puzzle skills.

What's developing in Construct 3 like? I've been using Unity basically since I started and never really though about any of the other game engines. From what I know Construct 3 is one of those no-code engines. Does it actually help with development or does it just restrict you a lot? Also, I think it runs in the web, what happens if you close your tab or something?

I thought that the art was really cool and the premise was a pretty good idea for the game jam. I think the game could be expanded, for example with the hot dog stands you could have to press the right mouse button or something and then you could have larger shops which require 2 or 3 workers to be deployed but as I already found out 3 hours is not a long time.

Good job! I thought the game was really fun but I also agree there should be something to explain what constitutes a good/bad employee, even if it is just in the description. I also wish that the itch page had a little bit of theming/description even if it's just a tiny bit explaining the game and what you used to make it etc.

I used two of the tracks again for my Trijam entry. Thanks so much for making this music!

I love the idea and the art style is cool

I started playing the game on mobile and I was still trying to get a high score 20 minutes later! I think it might be too hard tho, I only ever got like 3 smoothies

Super cool idea and the sketch art style is amazing. I think I walked off the map tho?

Thats impressive. I tried it again and got 1750 (so close!). After the voting period of the jam, I want to give the game a bit more polish possibly including a high score table

Was this made in scratch? If so how did you get it playable on itch?

I really like the concept and the art style. It's really hard tho! So much polish for just 36 hours. My submission isn't nearly as clean

Cool idea. Love the music

Cool game. The styles of the music, art and sfx come together really nicely. How was developing on the Pico 8

Thanks, I'll take a look at your game soon. There should be music already though...

I really like the arrt style

Such a cool idea for the jam. Love it

Great game

This game is absolutely fantastic. I think it work great with a few more holes as a short mobile game. It's especially impressive considering it only took 5.5 hours

Super cool game, how long did it take to make?

(1 edit)

I think I might have fixed the issue now

Sorry about that, I tried to do a bug Fix but I accidentally broke the limit box. It is now impossible to lose as the detection doesn't work - the reason that the planets in that area don't fuse. I'll fix it ASAP

Used this for my entry in the weekly Trijam game jam. The music really elevated the game, thanks so much for putting these great tunes on itch.io
