Thanks! Technically it should be hitting in four directions at once, but I think the collision detection for the up and down hit box are currently bugged. Will look into improving on that. I will absolutely being participating in the next jam. I think doing a couple more solo and then I will feel comfortable enough to look for a team.

Hey, I used this in a game jam recently and thought I would share the game with you. I also listed you on the game page. Thanks for making such amazing art. https://dead-internet-dev.itch.io/chronotaur
I really enjoyed the art and idea on controlling both characters. I found that I could lose one character if i wasnt paying attention and had no way of finding them again without tracing back my steps. I also got lost in the maze pretty quickly haha. I dont know if something was supposed to be chasing me but nothing was. Could be fun to have the witch or wolf following and different actions based on where each of the playable characters were. Great first game.
I found the audio to be really great and spooky. I had an awful time trying to figure out where I was going and the contrast was really hard to make anything out. I also couldn't tell why I couldnt go a direction before the X on that direction appeared. I think you are on the right track with atmosphere.
I really liked the art and use of the theme. Very nice folklore elements. I would have liked to have had some sort of background music playing in the overworld or in the individual locations. Like some chattering and music in the tavern etc.. Trying to figure out the puzzle of whodunit was fun and engaging
