Wait they're wearing a raincoat. I didn't even realize lmao

didn't get to any difficulty increase besides the storm, but a very fun game nonetheless! (my high score as of now is 70m)

Ohhh, yeah I see what you mean. That's probably one that should be adjusted, but you can either jump to the right and slash to the left or roll to the left and slash to the right (I do the latter)

Oh yeah, I wanted to try out some abnormal controls because they're easier for my brain to understand. I might try to add a keybinds thing in a settings menu

Which level could you not complete? I assume the first one? I'll take a look at it. Thanks for telling me!

Yeah I increased the difficulty faster than I normally would bc of how small it is and accidentally overshot it

I also completely forgot to make sounds lmao (didn't have time anyways). I'll probably make some after the jam

The strats I found for 2X (I use X for the second iteration of each level) and 3X are kinda complicated lmao. I had to make the levels pretty quickly (within a few hours)

I did not make the art, my friend did. I also messed up the sprites so I'll fix that after the jam too

solid game, but it feels like there's not enough you can do to avoid the bulls, and the other enemies are perhaps too easy

I personally might be more interested with more speed & reflex based mechanics or some other thing that balances difficulty

Solid game, interesting concept, cool blocky style

downsides: hard to approach/confusing/not understandable

could also use some music and some SFX for things like fire hitting plants and the timer. Not including that is understandable for just a week tho

Would be nice to be able to hover over and see the effects of planted crops and cannon upgrades

This did cause some confusion bc I couldn't see the inventory lol. Took me a bit to understand how to play

I like the blocky style tho

It doesn't quite fit fully in the screen, probably bc of the scroll wheels

I like the roll animations too. They came out quite nicely. (I actually got the sprites wrong for the other player animations due to poor communication and a lack of experience, so they probably would've looked better. I'll update it after the jam)

If I had more time the levels would've been more polished, but alas, I did not. The premise of this game did, however, double the amount of levels, as every level is played twice. I might make more levels after the jam too

This was a fun little game!

I do think it was too easy though, since you can just stand still and draw the same line over and over to win. It could be interesting with some kind of meter or other limitation for drawing or if attacks were layered

you can zoom out and pan the camera using the scroll wheel & middle mouse button

I am the chosen one

this is insane quality for a game jam. I couldn't make graphics this clean in two week

123 is the hardest combination fr

I used 4 for this but it could have been drawn in 3

this gets 1321213

61%

I should stop for today. Goodbye for now, I will return (sometime in the future I'll get this game on Steam bc it's a rhythm game I actually like)

52%... it's the same pattern but for some reason it's tripping me up now

50%!

I struggle to get past the square zig-zag thing bc I get used to that pattern and forget to switch to an even beat afterwards

I thought I was bad at this game but I read some comments and it seems like a lot of people haven't even gotten to 3-X

holy shit, used both index fingers on F and J and got to 36% w/o much difficulty

I read the title "These tutorials are inadequate for what's coming, forgive me" after beating the level before 3-X and I thought to myself, "Oh yeah, I saw people in the comments talking about 3-X; wonder how soon it'll be"

so my best rn is 12% and I'm considering using more than just my index finger on LMB

that part isn't that hard if you can follow the song's rhythm (may be easier bc of my musical experience)

what's the free version? the version on Steam is also paid

geometry dash is just a highly stylized rhythm game, unless you count community levels, bc those are their own thing

"ying"

I'll keep myself to the same standard and share my own submission in a reply ig.

Okay, so this game is too short to submit as a game on speedrun.com so I'll just time myself.
Feel free to reply with your time and a video submission directly to this comment and I'll try to keep it updated with who has the best time and what their time is

I will measure time for myself and for any other speedruns starting from the first frame in which the main game is visible and ending on the last. Because of the method of measurement and because of how fast this game goes, milliseconds will be included.

i agree, it felt like the end was cut short, and i thought i had to do something for it to continue. but no, 'twas the end.

I have $1000 and I need $100 more to get the trophy, what is this death, where is a reflective surface?

what about custom levels on top of the weapon customizer

I was about to reply saying I wish you could like comments, then i remembered you can. but I still want to leave a comment because that made me laugh out loud

thx

oof

oh the trick for this is to be in the corner for the coin part so they aren't in the way.

will you ever continue working on this? also I need help on the "Hard to the Touch" level.
