Thanks for playing my game!
This was a super simple, very basic, proof of concept game that I put together for the jam, to get me back in the swing of things with coding, git, Unity, and jamming.
You actually played the game in its entirety with the rock and gold responses.
Congrats on getting the gold, and know that every word you wrote was true!
Eeek! That was totally not the intention for you to feel that way, quite the opposite, lol.
Thank you, for trying to play my game. I’ve added the full screen button, so that should help. I had previously omitted this option, because it caused layout difficulties for me in the past, but it seems itch has made updates and it works better now.

The idea of the game is to encourage positivity by scribing a prompted affirmation. The theme of the jam was “scale,” and the Goddess responds with items on the scale accordingly. I enjoy making games with a positivity spin, especially my Go The Distance game: https://debbie-berlin.itch.io/go-the-distance, which has a similar idea of affirmations, and is more fleshed out. I’m looking forward to incorporating some of the read/write IO storage and user input field concepts I learned with this game into my other projects. In addition, I was happy to use one of the models from the newly released Open Source Afro Hair Library, https://www.dove.com/us/en/stories/campaigns/code-my-crown.html, and looking forward to exploring more of their content.
Thanks for playing!
Hi Mehrdash! Thanks for playing my game and for the feedback! Yes, I used Unity's "Random.Range" function to adjust the movement of the lights: https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Random.Range.html I'll consider better contrast color choices next time...thanks for the tip!
