Love the art work, very cute!

The gameplay is a lovely take on the catapult mechanic, feels like a frustrating platformer with launch mechanics, good laugh when the egg comes down.

I hate to admit how much I enjoyed this game! amazing work! art, music, gameplay and theme are all wonderful. Well done.
I would hope you continue and expand on this concept. more parts, more direct control on attack waves (I noticed there is a point where the screen is overwhelmed by enemies) This is a game I would buy cheap on steam and sink hours in if it had more fleshed out content.

Really amazing work!

Simple and enjoyable gameplay, with a very cute art style. Excellent work!

It took me a few rounds to figure out how the controls actually worked and the intended mechanics, the instructions could use more detail.

I wonder if you left test values in? I start on either round 5 or round 2?

Sometimes the rockets disappear and never come back, which is a shame as the art is gorgeous.

Unfortunately I find the high score mechanic to be a test of how long you are willing to play rather than a measure of skill or achievement. I could play optimally for 10 minutes and lose high score to some one who plays poorly but played for 10 hours.

The player controls are solid, and the character having some very nice 8 directional art is impressive for a 3 day jam.

There are a few issues I came across, the biggest being the log in system. You ask for an email and a password. the password is not hidden, so if a streamer plays this their password wont be hidden. Further, your email is displayed in the high score board for everyone to see instead of a username. Then to make it all a little worse, you don't need to use an email, this could just be a username as I saw other names on the scoreboard, not emails.

The enemies can walk through walls, and the projectiles they fire appear to be set as child objects and are being removed when you defeat the enemy.

I wish the doors had better graphics, it looks like they are still placeholder items. But I see the submission came in 1 minute before time, I imagine it is unfinished content and that is to be expected in a 3 day jam. A minor issue really.

Other than that this was actually a really smooth experience. Add some navigation to the enemies, let projectiles progress after death,  set username and hide password, and then you've got a really great game.

Fun little game. I  did find some bugs however;

Sometimes the red enemy spawns too far off screen so you  can't damage it. effectively soft  locking the player. Also,  ground detection would fail if you launched the player without leaving the ground collision, removing the ability to move or launch again until the player was hit by another object.

You have the beginnings of a really fun game here, I hope you continue to work on this one after that jam <3

Really enjoyed playing this! Great use of theme and the artwork is amazing! Simple yet very enjoyable game, well done.

What little critique i have is on very small points;

Starting in the top left of the screen was a little surprising, and a lack of diagonal movement took a few seconds to overcome, but all in all great gameplay.

The music is amazing, 10/10. The sound effect volume is fairly high by comparison, I would have liked an option to lower the sound effects.

I'm seeing games made long before the jam began  being submitted and people giving them 5 star ratings too... I'm still kind of new to game jams as i rarely have time for them. Is this common behavior? It's pretty demoralizing.

Love the artwork, fell in love with the character and world design immediately. Unfortunately I couldn't leave the starting area, the game would go dark after using the lift and then nothing happens.
