As someone else already said - the account creation nearly kept me from playing it xD But otherwise, pretty cool game.

Having to create an account really puts a damper on the pacing. The game is fine, but that crosshair is huge!
I got a 0 even though I made it to the end :(
I wish more people made twin stick shooters for game jams, really fun to play! I loved getting to make progress through the level, I feel like most games like this just have an infinite amount of enemies spawn in the one room you're in (like my game xP).
The music and sound effect all fit the game very well, as well as the art style. Really simple, but worked well for the game, though I'm not completely sure how it fit the theme.
I'd personally love to see a little more juice, screen shake, death particles, death splatters, stuff like that. I know it's hard to fit in on game jams, but some simple additions can make the game infinitely more satisfying to play!
Anyways I enjoyed playing the game, nice job!
(also I felt the stress associated with this number, glad you managed to make it in time!)
1 minute, 50 seconds before deadline
I'm sorry about the score. total score is total health at the end minus initial health you chose. So, basically you have to finish the game while dodging and collecting health points as many as you can. if you chose 5 hp initially and end with 5 hp, then you get 0 score. I agree it's kinda unfair and we should give some score for completing the game but we didn't have time to make a better score system. Thank you for playing and enjoying it regardless of the score!
Fun game! The gameplay is fun - I think it would add to the game if the final score was a function of health + doing in the least amount of time.
Also as a challenge, I played pacific - the game became a challenging bullet hell. Maybe could go for that route too!
The player controls are solid, and the character having some very nice 8 directional art is impressive for a 3 day jam.
There are a few issues I came across, the biggest being the log in system. You ask for an email and a password. the password is not hidden, so if a streamer plays this their password wont be hidden. Further, your email is displayed in the high score board for everyone to see instead of a username. Then to make it all a little worse, you don't need to use an email, this could just be a username as I saw other names on the scoreboard, not emails.
The enemies can walk through walls, and the projectiles they fire appear to be set as child objects and are being removed when you defeat the enemy.
I wish the doors had better graphics, it looks like they are still placeholder items. But I see the submission came in 1 minute before time, I imagine it is unfinished content and that is to be expected in a 3 day jam. A minor issue really.
Other than that this was actually a really smooth experience. Add some navigation to the enemies, let projectiles progress after death, set username and hide password, and then you've got a really great game.
thank you for your detailed feedback. we completely forgot about the streamers and passwords. that was a big mistake. enemies' bullets dying after enemies' death was a design choice but tbh we didn't have enough time to playtest and refine our design so it's probably a bad design choice. enemy walking over walls is a bug but I thought it shouldn't be a big problem and can go as a design choice too. but yeah it looks kinda bad xD about the door, our artist made a decent door system but we didn't have enough time to implement it so I just went with the red-green thing
