Hehe funny idea, fits theme very well.
Its not often you see game jam games with a proper story
well done
Took me a while to get the idea, horror game but you are the horror. Quite good actually
The entire atmosphere is spot on.
However the actual gameplay is pretty awful and the game is quite broken.
You have to go out of your way to watch the intro cutscene as it auto starts with the game and the entire game is by default at like 200% zoom so you cant read anything, also game softlocks in what seems to be a cutscene after the fishermen part. dunno if the game is supposed to even end there
Also going around into the other submissions and leaving comments that is half a "go play my game" seems really shady, heck the part that does supposedly give feedback doesn't even seem to match the games you are commenting on, almost as if you didn't even play those games and the comments are just advertising for this
Funny little game, the hero being swung around by the hammer looks hilarious
honestly all the graphics related to the hero look so funny
Also hitting the robots feels surprisingly satisfying considering you are just hitting them with the cursor, they have a nice weight and have proper physics instead of just being dragged by the unstoppable force of the cursor
Now THIS is an interesting concept, playing detective trying to figure where the intruder is hiding is fun, having the extra stress of babysitting the guards adds tension on top of that. And the entire game has such a mood, the atmosphere is perfect, love the sound effects.
Only issues is that is hard to keep track of the guards in the later levels, particularly what direction will they look when they get to the target location, and the cameras are hard to use effectively, biggest issue with the is that it isn't clear what camera you are looking at
Also half the time you win by accident but that is probably by the nature of trying to catch someone sneaking
Fairly good execution of the game in general.
The controls are a bit wonky and intuitive at least at first but this also makes the controls inverting mushrooms much more threatening.
Also the level is always the same, this makes this kind of games rather repetitive and more of a memorization challenge than anything else.
But that kind of thing is to be expected, making a procedural level generator in a game jam is very hard so i am not going to complain much.
Nice and interesting platformer. I like the idea and the level design looks good and the polish is very good for a game made in 2 days.
The only complaint i have is that the physics are weird at times and the controls sometimes are a bit unresponsive, most notably the double jump that works just fine with spacebar but using w or up arrow sometimes doesn't actually register. this doesn't break the game or anything so i'm not mad about these issues.
Overall, pretty good.

Mine fits the description so
The idea is a bullet hell shoot em up where you only have to dodge one bullet
