Nic e and fun really liked. Levels were good designed

I like the idea of combing whack a mole with a toggle-like puzzle mechanic. Really innovative! This game is pretty good across all categories, the gameplay is there, visuals are appealing, and sounds sounds good :)

Really interesting spin on the usual version of whackamole. I especially enjoyed the music, it seemed pretty fitting and was fun to listen to. I had a little trouble figuring out why moles would sometimes pop out and other times wouldn't since it didn't always seem to be based on proximity, but otherwise it was really fun to play. Please give my game a try too :)

Such a clever idea! No matter how many diffierent path I tried, I can't bit the 9th level in second layer. Somebody have the correct path?

Developer

I'll be honest, even I struggled with that level at one point, despite designing it just few days earlier. Here's a hint, so you can still try to solve the rest yourself: you have to start by going up, clearing that half of the level, ending at the green headband mole, then using it to jump to the bottom part.

Damn, I thought it is a must to click the same color mole...I complete all levels now :)

Fun game, the difficulty is all around the place, sorting that out and polishing it a bit, would earn a spot on my phone.

I actually had fun playing this! The puzzles were interesting, really good work!

I hope you like my game too!

Very interesting puzzle

difficulty curve is all off but making them in puzzles is hard so you get to pass on that

everything else is solid

It's really polished and fun to play, really nice, well done

Loved the retro theme. As some comments have said, maybe a tutorial explaining how many hits each mole can take would have been great. Great game nevertheless!

Great idea to recreate the arcade machine layout! Wish I had some kind of in-game tutorial to explain how my actions affected the moles, but everything else was extremely polished. Great audio design, beautiful art, tons of levels and you understand how to make puzzles.

Developer

I was trying to avoid having to make a tutorial, both to save time and as a design challenge. I was hoping that early levels would do a good job at teaching the player the behavior of the different mole types.

I'll be the first to admit I'm slower than most (makes me a good tester for worst case scenarios :) ). I was able to understand the mechanic, but I just didn't feel 100% confident that I had grasped it fully. I agree the game should teach the player, it's amazing how much you were able to put together in so short of time.

The game mechanic is very innovative
